Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich wende mich an Sie, um meine große Enttäuschung über meinen Aufenthalt im Los Olivos Beach Resort zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Mein geplanter Kurzurlaub hat in keiner Weise den Erwartungen entsprochen, die ich an eine als 4-Sterne-Anlage beworbene Unterkunft gestellt habe. Vielmehr war die tatsächliche Qualität deutlich unter diesem Standard. 1. Sicherheitsmängel im Apartment 244A Das gravierendste Problem stellte die mangelnde Sicherheit meines Apartments dar. Auf meiner Terrasse befand sich eine Treppe, die direkt auf eine stark befahrene Straße führte. Die auf dieser Treppe angebrachte Gittertür war defekt und ließ sich nicht abschließen – trotz Schlüssel. Somit hatte im Prinzip jeder ungehinderten Zugang zu meiner Terrasse und damit auch zu den Schlafzimmern. Diese waren lediglich durch Schiebetüren zur Terrasse hin zugänglich, ohne weitere Fenster oder Fluchtwege. Eine sichere Belüftung über Nacht war dadurch nicht möglich, da wir die Türen aus Sicherheitsgründen geschlossen halten mussten. In Kombination mit dem völligen Fehlen einer Klimaanlage kam es in den Nächten zu Raumtemperaturen von etwa 35 Grad – unzumutbare Bedingungen, insbesondere für Kinder. 2. Deutliche Mängel beim Service und der Ausstattung In allen Bereichen des Hotels war offensichtlich zu wenig Personal im Einsatz. • An der Rezeption war in der Regel nur eine Person tätig, was regelmäßig zu langen Wartezeiten führte. • Im Restaurant wurden Tische nicht zeitnah abgeräumt, da lediglich zwei Kellner für rund 30 Tische zuständig waren. • Getränke wurden in Pappbechern serviert – in einer angeblichen 4-Sterne-Anlage absolut unangemessen. • Es gab keine frischen Säfte, stattdessen wurden ausschließlich stark zuckerhaltige Industriegetränke angeboten. • Die Qualität des Frühstücksbuffets entsprach in keiner Weise einem 4-Sterne-Standard: geringe Auswahl, billige Zutaten, kaum Vielfalt. All diese Punkte haben den Erholungswert meines Aufenthaltes massiv beeinträchtigt. 3. Forderung einer Rückerstattung Angesichts der erheblichen Sicherheitsmängel, der schlechten Servicequalität und der nicht den Erwartungen entsprechenden Unterkunft bin ich der Meinung, dass eine Rückerstattung von mindestens 25 % des Gesamtpreises gerechtfertigt ist. Ich bitte um eine zeitnahe Rückmeldung und eine angemessene Lösung dieses Anliegens. Andernfalls behalte ich mir vor, den Fall an die zuständige Verbraucherzentrale oder meinen Reiseveranstalter weiterzuleiten. Arkadiusz Sala

Nos adjudicaron una habitación sucia, con un jardín lleno de colillas de cigarro, el armario lleno de polvo y sucio, interruptores de la luz rotos al igual que el ventilador del techo, con papel de aluminio ( me supongo que como arreglo), encontramos cucarachas y arañas en el apartamento,la habitación no la limpiaron y las toallas no las cambian a diario. Para llegar a la habitación tuvimos que subir muchas escaleras, cargadas con maletas y con una niña pequeña, te dan un plano de la ubicación y “búscate la vida”. El todo incluido está en el restaurante y lejos de la piscina, si tu hij@ tiene hambre a media mañana o a media tarde, le das agua o zumos y palomitas. Mi sensación, nada más llegar al apartamento fue de “asco”, no volveré a repetir.

Probably the worst place I've ever stayed. No air con, bathroom extractor didn't work and had no window so got extremely hot. Smoke detector was on the blink and flashing surprisingly bright lights so it was like sleeping in a veey hot disco. No sheets just a thin quilt which was too hot. Render falling off the walls. Patchy paint work. Drab breakfast. Room was very small, basic and dated. Sofa bed wouldn't fold properly. Pool area is overwhelmed by the buildings making it a bit depressing. We were seriously looking at checking out and paying for somewhere else. Resort is also very cheap and run down with the worst restaurants I've ever tried, I mean seriously bad food, unfit for rats. I've seen places on banged up abroad where id rather stay

False advertising from the beginning. We paid for all inclusive hotel for ourselves and our two children. This is NOT an all inclusive resort. There are No restaurants in these apartments and further more....the only restaurant that's included in your "all inclusive" package is the buffet 'canteen' at the resort next door. Granted it's a short walk. It's portrayed that you can use the Al a carte restaurant La Tosca but this restaurant is out on the street and is not linked to the hotel. This is also NOT included in your package, you only receive a 15% discount. The Sky bar which they advertised and promote is also NOT included, it's €25 per person. This is also open to the public and used as a free for all bar, it's not solely for hotel guest use. That said....it was dead constantly. The pool bar in Los olivos is NOT included either. The only place included is the buffet La jardin and the pool bar next door. The buffet was good but repetitive. The pool bar snacks (between 4 and 5 pm) were awful.... half arsed sandwiches, chips and fish fingers. We ate out over half the time we were there as it was the same old stuff all the time. The cocktails from the pool bar were out a machine and served in a paper cup. During our stay there was a huge school trip full of approx 14-18 yr olds staying and when they arrived at the buffet you couldn't get a seat, hear yourself think and were lucky if there was any food left. There was no atmosphere in this place at all. It's was dead most of the time around the pool, no music playing, the pool bar at Los olivos (you have to pay for everything) was closed on certain days and the pools didn't open until 10am. The adjoining resort (Lagos de fanabe) at least had music on but again, no atmosphere. Kids pool was freezing!!! Our room was basic, and tbh los olivos was more like self catering apartments as it had fridge, hob, microwave, sink, pots n pans etc. it is not a hotel tbh! Rooms were not cleaned the whole week we were there, despite putting the sign on the door. The beds were made but the floors weren't mopped etc. We had to ask for fresh towels and toilet rolls. Very noisy in the mornings as we were near reception and they are very loud. One of the ladies on the reception was lovely, she was so helpful. As for the other staff..... Meh!.... In general they looked like it was a hassle to get you anything, spent most of their time on their phones or chatting. Apart from a few waiters in the buffet restaurant, not one greeted you good morning, cracked a smile or even acknowledged you. Our rep was nowhere to be seen the whole time we were there. After asking reception when she will arrive we were given a couple of days and the times but then this was followed up by "but she is never here, she is the worst" ... We waited to speak with her at the times given and she never showed. We had an issue with conflicting bus pick up times and checking in to the airport on our return but she was nowhere to be seen. Do not under any circumstances book these apartments especially if you have mobility issues. We booked a gold standard room which when we eventually climbed many steps and steep inclines to find it we were shocked at the condition the apartment was in. To be honest I am still wondering how a massive cockroach got up there to be relaxing on my bed. I asked on days 5, 6, 7 and 8 for a linen change, on day 7 I was offered the sheets to change it myself. I took numerous photographs to pass to jet2 on our return, which to be fair to them they have responded positively. I wont carry on there is to much to tell....

Reservé una zona privada con jacuzzi para mi cumpleaños y la experiencia no ha podido ser peor. El trato del personal ha sido espantoso, desde un primer momento me dicen que no me pueden llevar ninguna bebida a la zona privada por falta de personal hasta dos horas después que haya más personal. Cuando ya viene otro camarero, pedimos las consumiciones y siempre nos las trae incompletas, teniendo que esperar 30 min para que termine de traer el pedido completo. Lo peor es que siempre con la mala cara, malos gestos. Incluso algunos de los invitados tuvieron que llamarles la atención a los camareros porque estaban hablando mal de nosotros a la vista de todo el mundo. Lo peor llegó al final, pido la cuenta y una camarera me dice el importe sin enseñarme el ticket, cuando se lo pido descubro que me han cargado bebidas y comida de otras mesas por un valor de 200€. No recomiendo para nada este lugar.

i came here with my family of three to stay in the gold suit, first of all it was impossible to find our hotel becuse the staff drew on a map that we need to walk a specific way but our hotel wasent there. i was gonna sleep in the couch but it was unsleepable the matress wasent even a matress it sounded so much like a plastic bag when you try to move on it so i made my husband sleep on it and i sleep in the bedroom with my child, my husband wake up in pain because the matress is so hard, the AC in the bedroom did not work and i was sweating the whole nigh. there are also cats everywhere and im terrified of them but overall the pool is nice and the rooftop too.

There are some positives about Los Olivos resort…great location by the beach, lovely roof top view, okay food and pools … however unfortunately for us that was all… on arrival at about 9pm we were sent with our luggage in search of our Gold star room which took us an hour at least to find in high heat and on very steep terrain and poorly labelled room numbers, then when we eventually found our apartment it was then up another 22 steep steps to our room … the room was filthy on arrival … dirty sheets and unclean bathroom and bedrooms. When we asked the receptionist for clean linen and linen for the extra bed we were met with a very aggressive response and what did we expect them to do about that at 10.30pm. We asked the next morning if we could move rooms to one with less of a climb (98 steep steps) as one of my friends has knee problems.. we were told no but to ask again which we did but to no avail. We were fully all inclusive and on the first day we had AI drinks by the pool but the next day this was no longer available for the rest of our stay ? Upon asking why this was the case the bar man just said in an aggressive manner.. ‘Can’t you read the notice?’ And would not even give us water … we had to walk to the hotel next door ( which is another steep walk) to get drinks throughout our stay. We contacted our rep who said yes they had stopped AI drinks by the pool ? We stayed for a week and not once was our apartment cleaned and no clean linen or towels although we asked each day … we did get some towels on our last day however…but no cleaning we did that ourselves …we even had to buy our own toilet paper ?? The whole resort is dirty and the staff are rude and unhelpful generally (apart from a couple of waiters in the restaurant) I am fit for a 60 year old but the steps and terrain is tricky for many. We managed to keep our room for a few hours on our day of checking out which was a bonus but I am not sure why we had to pay in cash for this and not mention it to anyone ? Great company of friends and Costa Adeje made this holiday which was another bonus but we would certainly not recommend to others

Good location, lots of lovely places to eat around the hotel and very close to the beach Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast but had fresh live food making with pancakes and omelettes The rooms were nice and large and AC was cold However our sheets didn’t get changed, the beds were made twice but still with the same sheets, only got fresh towels twice which was quite inconvenient Nice pool, water wasn’t too cold, a lot of people put towels on their sunbeds early hours but the children pool always had spare sun loungers, sun loungers weren’t too hot to lay on which is good too Nice hotel apart from the rooms not getting changed.
