I stayed (barely) at Lagos de Fañabé in Costa Adeje from May 27 to May 29, but checked out after one night because the experience was that bad. What was supposed to be a relaxing, all-inclusive holiday turned into a complete nightmare. I booked a standard room — nothing fancy, just something clean and decent. What I got was a filthy, bug-infested space with cockroaches crawling around. After complaining, they offered me a different room. It also had bugs. At that point, I chose to sleep in my car because staying there was simply disgusting. The reception and reservations staff were unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely overwhelmed. Trying to resolve anything with them was exhausting. I asked repeatedly to speak to a manager — conveniently, the manager was always “unavailable” and too afraid or unwilling to respond. To make matters worse, they refused to refund the nights I didn’t stay there, claiming the rate was non-refundable — even though nowhere during booking was that stated. They had the nerve to ask me to come back to the reception in person to fill out a form — while I was already far away from the property. That’s how little they care. From check-in, it was obvious the hotel is mismanaged, dirty, and completely overpriced. The restaurant looked rundown. The amenities were a joke. And the “service” was non-existent. There is zero value for money here. If you’re coming to Costa Adeje for peace, quality, and actual hospitality — stay away from this hotel. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple, a family, or anyone looking for basic comfort — Lagos de Fañabé will ruin your trip. I’ve traveled enough to know what to expect from a 3- or 4-star hotel. This place isn’t even worth one.
