Chatur Playa Real Resort

What can I say, we had a spectacular time, my advice is take any negative reviews with a pinch of salt, the food was fantastic, we stayed for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed each meal!! The hotel was clean, the team of cleaners were constantly busy cleaning and once a week doing a very thorough deep clean around the pool areas, we had clean sheets etc every other day in our room, the reception staff were polite and lovely, bar staff were also lovely and good fun, measures are very generous, the entertainment was wonderful, so many different things to do, both kids and adults were catered for throughout each day, the entertainers were so much fun, joining in and making each game more fun each time, they were incredible with my shy little boy and really made it fun for him, any child who joins in the games gets a certificate after the fantastic mini disco (this was the highlight of my sons evening) a very special mention to Laura, Jose and Evelyn who made such and effort with us and the children in our party!! We had the most amazing 2 weeks!! Thank you Chatur Playa Real!!

Great for the kids with having the splash pool area. Hotels abit tired and needs alot of updating. Room had a strange smell, the hair dryer blew up, the balcony had a broken table and only two chairs even though it was an apartment room that slept 4 people. The entertainment wasnt the best, seemed none existent throughout the day and just a little dance session for the kids in the evening. Great location as not too far from the beach, shops, siam park etc. Food variety was good (found there was plenty for veggies) but the snacks throughout the day for all inclusive was just hotdogs and burgers that had been left out all day. I think the whole time were were there there was only two days they had icecream. The drinks are also not the best. Just tasted like syrup. Also not the hotels fault but the type of people the hotel attracted let it down - lots of people not following rules (going in the pool at night when barriers off, taking glass drinks into the pool where someone did get injured etc), we also encountered some arguments which make you feel very awkward, some which involved staff being verbally abused. This hotel is very different to other 4* I have stayed in before.

Don’t listen to reviews and be aware that your holiday is what you make of it. This hotel is amazing. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and for all inclusive it’s its pretty good for food. Loads of choice and well cooked. The staff here are lovely. They can’t do enough for you. We had an issue with our bathroom and I swear someone was knocking on the door in less than 5 mins to fix it. They have children’s entertainment here and a club for them twice a day. They do nighttime entertainment for them too like a mini disco. The family rooms maybe need a bit of an update but all in all we had an amazing time!

Me and my husband we really liked the location of the hotel, great food with lot of options even for vegetarians and most of all, the activities of animation club (sports, fun, games, karaoke etc.)! In concrete, we would like to give a big THANKS to Evelyn, from animation team, that has always been very nice, kind and friendly with us during all the stay😊! CONTINUE like this CHATUR PLAYA REAL😎!

10 nights here July and August. It was very much as described on the website, we got what we were expecting which was a fun family holiday with good memories made. My suggestions for improvements: - more seating for the entertainment area of an evening, there's not enough, the area backs on to an indoor seating area for bad weather, open it up so people can sit and see their children. - Cover the food at the snack bar area - Don't let guests take the mic at the entertainment Children's views: - More entertainment variety of an evening - Bottom of pool felt a bit grubby at times - Advise guests to put the plugs in the drainage, it took us a few days to work out where little flies in our room were coming from! Best bits: - Enough sun beds to go around and during our stay, nobody took the mick with reserving them, saw most of those reserved being used straight after breakfast and nobody up doing it before light etc. - Good food variety in the restaurant, on a 7 day rota - Reception very helpful and get taxis to come very quickly - Childrens' club was great, the staff built a great rapport with my children who were asking to go, they took our numbers and contacted us if needed if we weren't nearby (as it's by the childrens' splash pool which is a bit more isolated) - Location is pretty good, 5 minute or so walk from the duque commercial centre, and about 15-20 minute downhill walk to the beach (obviously means uphill on the way back, or there are plenty of taxi ranks!) To summarise, I think the staff work very hard to make this a family friendly hotel and get the mix of fun and relaxation just right. There is very little to complain about and my family and I had a very good holiday that we will all remember fondly.
