Just returned from a week's holiday over half term. We are regular visitors to the Sella Ronda ski area as we find the lift infrastructure to be excellent and although the snow is unpredictable the snow making facilities are again excellent. This is clearly an area which has had a lot of money invested. We have stayed in a number of 3/4 star hotels similar to Hotel Table and found it to be one of the best. The rooms are simple but spacious and very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially the lovely man running the restaurant whose name I somehow didn't get. The dinners were very good (as usual you would make dinner choices at breakfast) and although there were only 3 options for each course there was always something appealing. We never had a poor meal. The hotel has a nice cafe/bar open to public and guests, there were always plenty of tables (unlike some hotels) but it could feel rather quiet, it seems most people are not here for the nightlife and take to their beds early. Ski room was perfect, no stairs for once. Mini-buses to lifts were well run and we barely had to wait, drivers were very nice. The only minor negative was the breakfast which did not quite live up to dinner. The buffet is squashed into rather a small space and options were slightly limited (granola would have been nice and some variation in the fruit), however you could order eggs which were freshly cooked and the croissants were plentiful and freshly baked (jams all homemade) Overall a very good experience and we would definitely return.
