Very disappointing wine tasting experience. Our tour guide was 45 minutes late to meet us and told us we would not tour the grounds as it had “rained earlier in the day”. She poured red wine into glasses that had just had white wine in them… when we asked for water, she straight up rolled her eyes and never brought any. Wish I had her name— brown hair and had been there 2 years. After she poured our 4th tasting, she left and we never saw her again. We’ve been in Tuscany for over a week and this was unquestionably our worst vineyard visit. That said, the tasting menu at the restaurant was unbelievable and the service down there was outstanding. Still thinking about the goose tortelli.

I have been fortunate to visit Il Falconiere several times over the past 5 years. My experience is always wonderful but somehow they manage to improve it every year. Each time we visit something new has been added or improved upon. I have used their services for cooking, and experience traveling. Sylvia's classes are outstanding and the restaurant more than deserves its Michellin Star. My family has been fortunate to make friends with many the people who work on site. The kind consideration and service form everyone is exceptional. i never feel like I am going to a resort, but more like visiting a family friend. Il Falconiere will remain the one place I visit as often as possible and the only place I will miss in my absence.

Bella posizione. Colazione molto buona, peccato non poter stare fuori a causa delle fastidiose api. La camera era spaziosa, splendida vista su Cortona e sulla valle. L'unica cosa negativa è stata una camminata in salita dal parcheggio/ristorante alla camera (dura a stomaco pieno!). Sono contento di essere abbastanza in forma da poterla fare.

Is it fair that the views are breathtaking from the restaurant in beautiful Cortona? Of course, but it made little impact because the fine wine - produced by the owners of the hotel - served by the attentive waiters matched well with our several course luncheon. Truly a most memorable meal as we eat our way through Tuscany.

Our trip to Il Falconiere was nothing short of magical- all we dreamed it would be and more. No detail has been overlooked on this property. Our room was well appointed and beautiful with the most amazing views as we opened our windows each morning. The food was exceptional. And the highlight was definitely the cooking class. Highly recommend and hope to come back one day.

Arriving amongst the beautiful vineyards & olive groves was a feast for the eyes. Everything about Il Falconiere says relax. Staff so friendly & helpful, food to remember forever & beautifully appointed rooms large but still cosy with beautiful bedding topping off a beautifully comfortable bed. We had our car so location was perfect for us.
