Flat pillows and springs can be felt in mattresses. Don't look for electrical socket behind nightstand or you will see all the bedbugs that their insect spray has killed. Not necessarily a safe area and lots of night "activity" in the inner area. Would NEVER stay there again.

Disgusting, Unsafe — Not Worth Any Price I just needed a place to sleep, but this was a huge mistake. The room smelled terrible, was filthy, and felt completely unsafe. The door was flimsy and looked like it had been broken into before. Worst of all, there was a man lying on the ground outside the office eating out of a Styrofoam box, and sketchy individuals were walking around the property — it felt like drug activity was happening. No wonder this place costs half as much as everywhere else. I would’ve gladly paid $160+ to feel safe. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

This hotel is very central in Cortland (about 10 minutes walk to the main shopping street). It has a nice big car park and the unique aspect with this hotel is that the rooms open out onto the car park, so with being on the ground floor I was able to park literally 2 metres from the door into my room which makes unloading luggage very easy. The staff member on duty overnight on 8th March wasn;'t the friendliest. Breakfast is basic but keeps you going (some cereal and honey buns). Only about 5 minutes off the freeway as well.

The motel is fine, but there were so many scary looking drug addiicts hanging around the property that I did not feel comfortable staying there. I left without spending the night.

We went out with the family for a dance competition, we were literally there for maybe an hour and we felt so unsafe that we left and drove straight home!

FD training
Two night stay for business. Price was right for our needs. Everything was clean. The upstairs residents above us were very noisy all night long. They advertised breakfast which they did not have.

Piece was good, but not the stay
Two broken down vehicles in parking lot. A group of locals who seemed to live there but were climbing in the dumpster looking for recyclables and pushing around shopping cars were there outside most of the day. A couple who seemed to live in one of the rooms had a squabble outside during the night. Room had sloppy paint job, small holes in the wall where things had been hung in the past and smelled of smoke.

Nice Cheap and Cheerful Hotel
This hotel is nicely situated near the I81 and the city centre. It was nice and quiet and the rooms open out onto the courtyard. As I was on the ground floor I managed to park 2 metres from my door. A bit shabby inside but comfy enough for a 1 or 2 night stay.
