"Located in the eastern-most edge of Cuneo Province, Barroero is must visit for anyone truly interested in the food culture and history of Piemonte. Guests will leave with a heightened appreciation for this precious Piemontese agricultural product. I've been coming here for nearly 27 years and this was such an eye-opener for us. We spent a little over an hour with Isabella touring the hazelnut and bakery facilities. We then sat down on the terrace next to one of the huge groves of hazelnut trees to enjoy a multi-course lunch Isabella prepared for us. This truly is a must visit either for a day trip to the high Langa or for an overnight in nature in one of Cascina Barroero's apartments high above the Bormida valley.
