Villa Capri by the Sea

We stayed at the Villa Capri for 7 nights and it was simply wonderful! The location is ideal for spending time at the beach or exploring Coronado. You can hardly get better, since it's right across the street from the famous Hotel Del Coronado. Villa Capri is walking distance to almost everything, so we didn't need a car. Our Inn Keeper, Aaliyah was so accommodating, helpful and friendly! She's a pro in the field of hospitality. The accommodations were clean, bed was comfortable and water pressure/temp was great! We will definitely be back. Hopefully it stays affordable because this is a bit of a hidden gem!

My wife and I spent 11 days in a King Suite at Villa Capri including the Memorial Day Weekend. If you're looking for a 5 Star resort, you'll be disappointed but if you're looking for an affordable, clean, spacious and friendly place to stay, you'll love Villa Capri. Let me begin by saying that the inn-keeper Aaliyah and those who stood in for her on the weekends were wonderful. It was a tad inconvenient that the office was closed from 11am-4pm so an early check-in was not possible.our King Suite #15 was large with a living room, bedroom with attached bathroom and a full size kitchen with table and chairs, stove, microwave a full size refrigerator. We were able to buy-in groceries for breakfast and several dinners which saved us money on our trip. The rooms were exceptionally clean and housekeeping was excellent. The changes the towels every day which really was not necessary. Our only complaint was the TV in the living room had a sound problem. It keep going up and down on its own. Villa Capri is across the street from the Del and within easy walking distance of several great restaurants and a 15-20 minute walk from a Von's grocery store. Our only concern is that parking is a bit of a crap shoot. There are limited spaces and when Villa Capri is at capacity, you may not get a space. We planned ahead and made sure to get back every day to grab a space. On the whole, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Villa Capri. You'll save about half of what you would pay across the street at the Del and that in itself is a big thing. Again, many thanks to Aaliyah and her staff for all of the help.

It was my birthday and we went to look at a car for sale by a private party.We have been but had never stayed on Coronado Island.We booked kinda last minute so most places were full.We were upgraded to a suite with kitchen

Stayed in the Suite with a Kitchen. The theme of the 1950's is throughout the property but in a good way. Beds are comfy, place is clean, very convenient location right across the street from the Del. Manager is more than willing to please, offered to help carry our bags up the stairs (no elevator), provided items needed that were not in the suite. They provide free bicycles and there is a lovely bike path nearby that goes all the way to the Landing on the bay. We stayed for several days. Had an absolutely beautiful time. Office hours are limited.
