It was already past 1am when we drove from the airport to the hotel. The navigation took us to the back door of the hotel. We didn't know how to check in because we needed a card to get in. We drove around and around until we finally saw a staff member coming out. We realized that it was the back door and we had to go around to the front door. After checking in, we went to the room and found that the window of the room faced a wall, which meant there was no view. It was really not worth the rent. Fortunately, I communicated with the front desk the next day and they included breakfast for the next day as compensation.

This was a very cute and charming B&B in an excellent location. I loved the historical feel and my bathroom had beautiful tile work that is never seen anymore. The butterflies, caterpillars and cocoons in the front yard were too cute. Easy walk to the famous Coronado hotel and beach where Some Like it Hot was filmed. Close to Panera, Subway, Starbucks and dining options.

Fabulous Stay at the Cherokee Lodge! Tiffany and the whole team are fantastic. I stayed so low with my dogs in room two had an amazing time.

This place is lovely, from the rooms, to the common areas, to the outdoor sitting areas, to the people. We booked a room for one night as a place to touch down between two legs of our trip. We had an evening flight so planned to kill the time between checkout and our flight at the beach, walking around town, and maybe seeing a movie. When my husband had some issues and we realized he was was not able to do that much walking, the manager at Cherokee let us stay the rest of the day for a very reasonable price. We are thankful for their kindness. Everything is impeccably clean. The garden surrounding the lodge is delightful and has lots of places to sit, which we took advantage of. Groceries, shops, restaurants, scenic walks and the beach are close by. I hope we get a chance to return and stay a while.

Enjoyed the stay. Parking could have been a challenge, but we found a space within fifty feet. We were able to easily walk to every where we wished to go, never moving the car. The only issue was with the pillows which my wife found too hard for her and in checking there were not other choices available at the time. She was able to fold the bath towel in such a was to solve the issue.

It had everything a traveler would need! The decor was charming, lovely, quiet, and had substantial self- serve breakfast selections. Tiffany showed us the layout when we arrived and made sure to let us know that if we needed anything, that she would be available to assist us, and she did!
When we return to Coronado, we hope to stay at this lodge.
