We stayed at Corona Guest Farm for 3 nights and loved the tranquility and beauty of it. The staff were amazing and we had the best meals in our Namibian trip in an incredibly beautiful setting. The chef, Anna Marie prepares artful meals from components grown in the garden. We also took a sundowner game drive with Fernando who is so knowledgeable about the wildlife, fauna and flora. What we loved most about it was the intimacy of the place. We will be back!

An oasis after a trip trough the dessert. Fantastic staff. Very nice rooms. Very good kitchen. Thanks to Yanis and Fernando. We will come back again if it is possible.

Janus und Fernando sind die perfekten Gastgeber auf einer atemberaubenden Farm mit spannenden, vielfältigen Ausflugsangeboten (z.B. Skorpionjagd). Abgerundet wird das Erlebnis durch wunderschön, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer und einer Gourmetküche, die fast alles aus eigenem Anbau bezieht.

Traumhaft schöne Gästefarm! Nach der spannenden Anfahrt via Gamsberg, biegt man um die Kurve und erblickt in imposanter Gamsbergkulisse diese ruhige und friedvolle grüne Oase. Top gepflegt findet man hier ALLES, was das Herz begehrt: wir hatten die spektakulärsten Sundowner, spannende Game Drives - die Fernando mit einem unglaublich großen Wissen über Flora und Fauna absolut bereichert hat, selbst für diejenigen, die sich in Namibia bereits etwas auskennen. Die Tracks sind schön angelegt und wir sahen besonders viele Zebras, Oryx, Elands, Springböcke... Abends gab es am liebevoll gedeckten Tisch ein exzellentes 3-Gänge-Menü mit passendem Wein. Janus und Annemarie sind ganz hervorragende Köch*innen, die sogar für die Kinder noch ein extra Menü gezaubert haben. Wir haben diese absolut herzliche Atmosphäre jetzt bereits zum zweiten Mal genossen und dies ist einer der Plätze, die wir in Namibia jedem uneingeschränkt empfehlen können. Abends unter einem atemberaubenden Sternenhimmel den Tag am Lagerfeuer ruhig ausklingen lassen - Namibia von seiner schönsten Seite!!!

Während der rund 16 KM langen Anfahrt durch die Wildnis fragt man sich, wo man hier landet. Plötzlich wird der Blick frei auf das Tal und man erkennt eine grüne Oase. Und genau das ist die Corona Guest Farm: Eine wunderschön, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Farm mit tollem, grünen Garten, vielen Sitzgelegenheiten einem schönen Pool, auch ein Vogelparadies. Die Zimmer im Haupthaus sind sehr schön (insbesondere das Elefantenzimmer). Die Zimmer in der Dependance sind ebenfalls gut, aber halt etwas weg vom Haupthaus. Der Höhepunkt des Tages ist jeweils das Abendessen, das von Annemarie sehr schmackhaft zubereitet worden ist und von ihr vorgestellt wird. Gute Weinauswahl (nachfragen). Wir wurden von den Inhabern Janos und Fernando immer sehr herzlich begrüsst. Man kann von der Lodge aus diverse interessante Wanderungen machen. Corona ist für uns eine der besten Unterkünfte in Namibia gewesen (wenn nicht die beste). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Une oasis de verdure dans un environnement aride ( grande sécheresse en Namibie) et dans un décor magnifique au pied du Gamsberg. Nous avons fait halte à la Corona Guest Farm sur le trajet entre Swakopmund et Sesriem et ce fut une très agréable expérience. L’accueil des propriétaires est chaleureux, le cadre est superbe, une vieille maison de plus de 100 ans décorée avec beaucoup de goût : où que l’on pose le regard, on découvre un objet, une photo, une décoration intéressante. Piscine, jardin arboré, possibilité de randonnées entre 1 et 13h !! Calme absolu. La cerise sur le gâteau c’est la cuisine d’Annamaria digne d’un grand chef et avec 80% de produits du jardin. Un délice présenté avec une table digne d’un grand restaurant. Félicitations
