The hotel is located on the roadside, next to a gas station and near a supermarket. It is convenient to travel. The room is a bit country style.

A very ordinary motel with outdated equipment and a feeling of a domestic guesthouse in the 1990s... It is also relatively close to the highway, so there is a certain amount of noise... The bed is big, but too soft. My back hurts when I sleep, and the door lock is a bit broken. If I hadn’t happened to pass by, I probably wouldn’t have chosen it again.

This store is a bit out of the way. The only advantage is that it is close to the airport. The air conditioner is broken, the hot and cold water cannot be controlled, the price is not cheap, and the room is very small.

Very poorly run motel. They don't answer the phone and don't call back when you leave a message. The rooms aren't maintained fully, had a show on the slippery floor and their soap dispenser was empty. First stay a week ago there was a very loud noise in the ceiling void from what assume was the hot water pipes banging which kept me awake. Had to stay here another night on our way back to Brisbane wishing we could have stayed elsewhere.

Due to wet weather we were not keen to stop and set up our camper trailer when breaking our journey to East Gippsland from SA. Corio Bay Motel ticked the distance box and rooms starting under $100 were cheaper than caravan park cabins and good value when some parks charge $60 for a powered site. Staff at checkin were friendly and helpful re parking our camper securely in the large parking area. Motel is old style we opted for ground floor room, again old style but some updating has been done at some point, unlike some we found room and fittings to be very clean and fresh. Large comfortable bed, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, fridge, table & chairs, everything you need for overnight stay. Shower adequate, only minor issue shower wash dispenser was empty. Sure its in a light industrial area but traffic noise was fine. Easy access via front or rear. Would be hard to find a better value stay on outskirts of Geelong or striking distance of Melbourne.

There was no shower curtain so the bathroom floor got very wet while showering, walls in dining area needed a wash, no complimentary shampoo/conditioner, no dish cloth /tea towel for dishes, no Wi-Fi, no hairdryer

It’s never a good look when you pull back the covers of the bed to reveal someone else’s hair. Sitting on the toilet was a rocky event as it wasn’t securely attached to the floor. A very roughly done bathroom upgrade has it looking grimy and icky. No tv remote and the first room I asked to get moved from was mouldy and stinky. Convenient to spirit of Tasmania terminal but if you want some sleep stay somewhere else as it’s super noisy here too.
