We were made very welcome by the very friendly staff. The food was excellent and the room was very comfortable and clean. The village was a small friendly village situated in a good location for reaching where we needed to go.

New landlords were exceptional. Wonderful evening for a Burns Night celebration. The food and all the staff were very friendly and efficient. The was a piper and highland dancers. We had canapés, starter, main course and desert. Then a shot of whisky to toast the lads and lassies. Coffee and shortbread to finish.

Great place to eat and wonderful atmosphere..Jonathan the front of house was very attentive with impeccable service and the food was very fresh made by the chef Azra .The establishment was very clean .I would encourage people to support their local pub in order to make it become successful.

This place has gone completely downhill since it reopened. New selection of beer is terrible and expensive. Staff have no idea what they are doing and the food is over priced. Such a shame the new owners made promises he couldn't keep like 'honest prices' instead he is ripping us off. This place will shut in no time

Lovely room. Very clean and comfortable. Bar staff very friendly. Good choice of drinks. We had an issue with serving breakfast on the day we stayed. We had to leave without breakfast. We emailed the manager, Tomas Brito, for help to resolve the issue. His reply was prompt, very apologetic and he has made us a very generous offer to make up for our disappointment. We cannot fault his customer service and will certainly go back to the Royal Georgekn the future.

Food very expensive and not as good as it used to be. Pica pau full of gristle used to be a favourite. No atmosphere which is a shame and there is definitely something lacking especially when you compare with other pubs in the area. Small cans of tonic why not have a decent size bottle. Bar top area is so sparse it looks as if everything has been packed away. Can’t say I want to rush back.

Lived in the village for years and the new owners are just ripping people off £9 for a glass of wine which they don't give the proper measure for then argue with you when you question it. Cheaper to get a taxi into town. Let down for the locals who just want a quiet drink

Family lunch. Great starters of sautéed mushrooms and prawn cocktail- expected bread with our delicious prawns and the staff brought out beautiful focaccia when we asked. Beautiful lamb for my husband, the rib of beef was incredibly tender and the nut roast apparently was tasty and really good. Hoping for more cauliflower cheese as a portion next time but such a lovely meal and afternoon. Fantastic to have you back Tomas. Tx
