I stayed the night before a surgery in Iowa city! Still dealing with an overcharge on my receipt 3 weeks later! First off, I call every day and they say management is out. Today the front desk supervisor said since it’s notated that I stole towels and I filed a complaint with Wyndham and my credit card then can no longer talk to me! I stole nothing from this property, I did request 2 extra towels at check in since I had surgery the next day I needed to shower in the evening and in the morning. We also asked for a remote for the TV. Lights did not work in the room and outlets didn’t work. The first time I spoke with management the week after told me they would double check with the housekeeping manager and get back to me… still nothing! There is no reason I would take towels from a property that were thin and ragged. My towels at home that are 10 years old are better than these Walmart specials. Totally not worth $100!

Was not notified until we got there about bathroom light and fan not working. Faucet outside the bathroom that vanity light wasn't working. The trash was not emptied. It looks like one of the queen bed sheets was yellow and had piss on it. And the tub did not look clean as there was hair on the shower wall.

DOES NOT HAVE A HOT TUB AS SHOWN IN PHOTOS. Hall way was dirty, but the room was clean. TV was junk. It is what you expect for a hotel under $100

Don't do it! Filthy dirty and rooms are in terrible condition. They even shut down the indoor pool for a storm that had already passed! The breakfast was old and stale. The water had things floating in it and was at least from the night before when I saw it. Just terrible

Good stuff:
- Front desk staff were all nice. One time I got to the breakfast area just before it closed and the staff-person waited until I got all my stuff before closing it up. I also checked in early and they didn't charge me extra even though they were supposed to.
- Mostly clean
- Breakfast had the basics
Bad Stuff:
- One of the people on the cleaning staff knocked on my door to see if I needed towels or had trash and he muttered "behnchod" after I opened the door. I am not Indian nor speak Hindi, but I know what that word means.
- Funny how the pool is the main picture here but it was closed for maintenance on all four of my days.
- Bed was not comfy. My back hurt so bad after the first night that I could not bend over without pain (as someone who is generally pretty flexible). It was a four night stay though and my back did not hurt after the subsequent nights.
- Mostly clean but some cobwebs on the ceiling of my room, and the window screen mesh was partly torn with spiders visible outside
- The breakfast was decent but far from good. There were no eggs or yogurt. The only pastries were cheap mini muffins and bland donut holes. The juice machine didn't work on one of the days. Also 9am is too early for breakfast to end and this forced me to go to sleep earlier than I wanted to.
- The vending machines didn't have anything good (mostly just candy bars and chips - no cookies or better snacks) and only accepted dollar bills
- The position of the TV was weird

There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. Staff said they would report to maintenance and they would fix it tomorrow morning - which would mean after we were already gone. I'm sure that they realize the water was out before giving us the room.
