Crown Resorts Horizon Hotel

Very friendly staff, beautiful pool and the beach is a less than 5 minute walk from the hotel to the beach. Hotel is very clean. Lovely spa area with an indoor pool. I booked a Cretan massage with the charming Panos (who is a trained physiotherapist) and it was excellent.

The most relaxing holiday that we have ever had. The service here is amazing, rooms always very clean, good mixed cocktails and smoothies, with great service from Ash to our sun loungers every day. We came for our anniversary and a cake with happy anniversary was in our room. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. A good varied selection of food every day and the Japanese restaurant is really nice. Had a full body massage from Panos and feel like a new man! Once again nice and friendly and just the right amount of pressure for a good massage. Really worked through some knots and made me feel really comfortable. We will definitely be coming back here to visit again. A week here and we feel like we have hit the reset button and are ready to go back to work.

Just had a visit to the spa, had back massage and facial done by Taxia! All I can say it was amazing would highly recommend treating yourself to treatments , worth every penny. Thank you Taxia, also hotel and staff fantastic 😀 can’t do enough for you. Fantastic choice of food ! Snack bar food also amazing.

The staff at this hotel make the experience very relaxing STAFF , we wouldn’t normally mention names however it’s very clear that the Nepalese staff here are amazing around the pool ash and Pradip constantly work very hard to provide drinks of good quality the lifeguards always watching to put up umbrellas and fresh towels, particularly Mohammed. The pool beds are the most comfortable we have had at any five star hotel sadly a lot of people smoke and there does not appear to be a non-smoking area. FOOD The staff in the dining room from the moment you walk in, Pula ( I’m not sure of the spelling of her name) smiles remembers your name and room number she has the most amazing welcome then you are shown to your table and you have the three A’s Anita Alina and Adam clearing tables ensuring you have everything and that you are happy they cannot do enough for you . Along with Seema and Mohammed. The buffet is ok although to be honest in our view not 5 star very little quality meat or fish however plenty of vegetarian options snd beautifully presented sweets . Breakfast has plenty of choice although tinned fruit !! Sone fresh fruits but in our view not 5 star .Lunch by the pool is ok again food not 5 star but service excellent . TIKI restaurant was Japanese fusion a set menu with about nine courses. The food was okay again in our view not 5 star you are able to go once a week and as the menu doesn’t change that’s probably sufficient staff again there Anju and Sherpa excellent knowledgeable WINE (we had a pleasant pale French Rose included in the AI ) Alina Anita always making sure it was our favourite wine even going to the bar to get the right one again they give outstanding professional service The white wine was also very pleasant POOL AREA Stunning most comfortable sunbeds, plenty of towels and great lifeguards (Mohammed) putting up umbrellas changing towels ROOMS Modern spotlessly clean fridge replenished daily water fruit juice beer ( AI) very comfortable bed changed every other day could do with more draw space small bathroom but everything you need ENTERTAINMENT A couple of the entertain evenings were okay but certainly not of a lively standard which suits us. It is a relaxing hotel however it could do with better entertainment. TENNIS Lovely tennis courts shame it wasn’t in the marketing report CATS and SMOKING They do have cats in the restaurant, which obviously some people like we’re not sure that’s ideal and sadly there seem to be very few areas for non-smokers. OVERALL a very relaxing hotel in a quiet area with exceptional staff in fact we would return purely because of the staff making it so special . they can’t do enough for you. I hope the management recognise them.

This relates to AEGEO Spa at the location. I had an excellent massage by Panos who was very knowledgeable, helpful and provided an excellent treatment. Relaxing surroundings and very professional . I would thoroughly recommend this to any visitor.

Best massage we ever had. Taxia and Panos were excellent and very calmly. Both me and my wife are very happy with the ecperience. Nice aera and nice vibes. Easy to acess thru the hotel. Lovely people who worked there. Got a body mist who smelled very god
