Coral Beach Hotel & Resort Cyprus

It was good hotel but it’s getting so old, definitely need a renovation. It’s not 5 stars for sure In gym everything just disgusting

Great hotel located a few steps from the sea in Coral Beach ,0aphos Great facilities l, i cluding pool, indoor and outdoor, spa and seceral restaurants at a decent price during July

We have just returned from this hotel, I booked it quite last minute so didn’t do my usual deep digging prior However firstly the not so good bits..rated 5 star but it’s a 4 star Rooms are clean but very dated, pergolas on balconies are rotten, balcony furniture chipped and rotten in places, same with the sun loungers, and beach towels have definitely seen better days! the mattresses also on sunbeds are so tired and tatty, Good bits, staff are lovely the food was incredible the speciality restaurants were all so so good And it’s a very clean hotel , location nice too But def not worth what we paid nor somewhere I’d return it just needs a good refresh refurb

Did not stay in the hotel this time but used the restaurant for an evening meal and the lounge and terraces for coffee during the day. The lounge and terrace areas are impressive and again the day we went for an evening meal the Italian was shut. The meal we had was ok - cant complain but not really excellent as it has been in the past.

First impressions on arrival, beautiful hotel! The foyer and surrounding area has in my opinion a Safari lodge feel about it. A grand piano and lots of places to sit and admire the sea view, with refreshingly cool air conditioning Cleanliness is good in this hotel. THE ROOM I upgraded to a sea view room (1118) and it didn’t disappoint, wonderful panoramic view of the hotel grounds and Coral Bay. One thing to point out about this particular room, it’s above the terrace and pool area so if you prefer quiet, it’s not the room for you. Music and singers didn’t stop until 11pm most nights, didn’t bother us but would aggravate some people I’m sure. All the cleaning staff were great and kept our room lovely and clean. Bring a small extension lead as they are British plugs but there aren’t many of them! Clean comfortable but a bit dated I would say. It’s subjective but if you’re after modern clean lines it’s not for you! FOOD Terrific selection in the buffet, lots of flavour, not sure about the “GRISPY BACON” though! Vegetarians are well catered for too! The usual challenge with a buffet is inconsiderate, selfish, people. It amazes me how after half an hour the selection of food looks like chimps have attacked it! All the chefs and staff work hard to keep everything moving, they do an amazing job! POOL AREA For us mid September is a great time to go. No problems with sun beds, plenty to go around. If you like the same beds every day you might struggle though, we were lucky as our friends were early risers! Fantastic pool, although I would say go careful on the crazy paving surrounding the pool (some stones higher than others) it needs some attention. ENTERTAINMENT For us the entertainment is what lets this hotel down! For a hotel of this quality I would expect much better. OVERALL Great location Supermarket and bus stop across the road (615 for Pathos) change at depot 611 in to Paphos harbour. Takes about an hour. A wonderful hotel with great staff and great location. It is clear that it needs a renovation in certain areas. If you’re thinking of booking I would say do it, you’ll have a wonderfully relaxing holiday. We’ll return to Cyprus next year as we loved it, will probably try a different hotel closer to Paphos. Legends sports bar is great if you like your football. If you like your sports

I wish to review the main buffet restaurant. We have been to this hotel four times now and in our opinion this is the best all inclusive restaurant for variation and quality. All the staff are very efficient and friendly. The chefs ensure the food is topped up constantly. We particularly appreciate that the head chef Antonis engages every day with his customers to ensure they are happy with the food and service. He even brought my husband some blue cheese out for his cheese and biscuits as he mentioned he preferred it. Fantastic service. We hope to visit again in the future.
