Stayed for one night prior to Gatwick flight. Lovely hotel with good sized comfortable room. Staff were all friendly and attentive. We had a delicious meal. Great place to stay if you want a more personal experience than the traditional airport hotels. Highly recommended!

We loved our room; the atmosphere, the restaurant; the food, the evening and morning staff! The only minor glitch was that they could have used a grab bar in the (beautiful) shower. We were a 13 minute drive from Gatwick Airport and the inn kindly secured us a taxi which arrived exactly on time. Highly recommend the Old House!

The rooms with bathroom were big enough for couple. The room decorations were fantastic.. The furnitures were typical English and rustic. I love it. Teas, coffee, water kittle, biscuits, bottle of waters and towels were well-prepared. Only cupboard was missing in the room. For one night stay will be alright but for a long period of stay cupboard would be nice in the room.

Right from the first moment the team at the Old House Inn were amazingly friendly. Our room was well finished, spacious, clean and comfortable. The menu in the dining room offered a good choice between pub classics and excellent other dishes such as fish stew, and venison. Excellent breakfast in the morning also. When we next fly to/from Gatwick we will factor this establishment in to our plans at that time.

The staff were very friendly and the room was beautiful but it was on the same level and overlooked the beer garden, so I think that this could be a problem in the summer. It also had an interconnecting door, which meant I could hear my noisy neighbours very clearly!

This is a truly amazing place to stay. Staff are really helpful and friendly. The food was delicious, service prompt and efficient. The room looked beautiful and was super comfy. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars are the shower had zero power and the Wi-Fi in the rooms isn’t very good. Don’t let that put you off though as it’s a beautiful place to stay.

Lunch with our walking group. Service was excellent, range of beers n the bar was superb and the quality of our lunch was outstanding. The staff could not have done more and served our orders quickly with a smile. Who could want for more? We will be returning!

Amazing!
Amazing place to stay with history and cozy English cottage ambiance. Great friendly staff, beautiful linens in rooms, not huge so never overrun, in a quiet area about 12 min taxi from Gatwick airport. Absolutely wonderful food options and portions. Can’t stress these awesome things enough! Wish I could stay there!
