Tuesday nights are always dinner dates for my missus and i, and we had a pleasure at dining at the curious pig in the parlour . The choice came as a recommendation from a friend earlier on and they did not dissapoint. The ambience was pleasing right from table service to the food. I had the chefs special, pork chops with roasted potatoes garlic, garden peas mixed with a chilli sauce, i really liked that. Missus had a medium rare stake and i must say the food was amazing. Missus ended up trying a smokey house gin, a good gin , a solid 7. Drinks are at reasonable price and Chloe who was assigned to our table was very professional and very good at offering suggestion. You have an asset there. They do have a service charge that comes with the bill but it is optional. I did not mind paying that as we had a lovely experience.Overall i would highly recommend and will definately dine.

RAW CHICKEN SERVED all that there is to say about it, But staff were amazing to make me feel better and gave me free deserts, I also do not rate the Dinner i had, it was steak fajitas and they give you 3 little wraps to eat it with, loads of veg and meat left but nothing to put it in.

What a great find, we had an overnight stay on our way back from France before going home to North Lancashire. We ate in the garden, the food was super, the rooms comfortable and clean with everything we needed. What stood out most of all were the staff and service, everyone who we dealt with, the managers, bar staff and servers were just lovely. Great to say somewhere with such a friendly relaxed vibe. Good hotel and pub
The Hotel and Pub is nice, good selection of food and drinks. Car park was very busy. We stayed for one night, the room was nice however we were woken up at 2:30am to a fire alarm, after around 10 mins it was turned off. There were no staff for the hotel overnight just one of the chefs there and when we asked what happened with the alarm overnight they wouldn’t say. Other than being woken up in the middle of the night it was a nice room and a nice pub

This is a wonderful little inn. Missed my connecting flight out of Gatwick and needed a place to stay. Got a room here and loved it. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and good food with a large lovely outdoor seating area in the back. Don't skip the dessert. I just can't recommend the pavlova highly enough. It's Amazing. As far as the room goes, the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The best thing about this place is the service. The inn's staff is incredibly friendly and really goes the extra mile to accommodate their guests. I'll definitely be back.

We arrived here around 10 in morning because of a flight. We planned to see if we could leave our luggage here until checking at 3 so we could explore. They so happened to have a room available and put us in there instead right away. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
