No nos hospedamos en el lugar, pero anuncian el restaurante. Y resulta que sin reservación no hay ni desayuno, ni almuerzo ni cena. Así que no vayan sin reserva ! Por dicha hay muchos otros lugares para desayunar alrededor también. Y tuvimos que bajar a ver donde ir!

Stunning place, food and service!
Well, where do I start!I have had the best time! The place is so peaceful and beautiful, the perfect place to rest and recharge with nature. The service was really approachable and professional. The staff is proud of where they work and to deliver some of amazing food. I stayed for 5 days and tasted nearly every dishes on the menu. All dishes are created and composed with care looking at flavours, texture and originality! I loved it and was looking forward to seating down in the restaurant looking at the beautiful view. The room is comfortable with great bed and a very large window which connect you directly to the nature. Thank you to all the team, front of house and chefs. I had an amazing experience. Chalet en bois situé dans un endroit très calme. Dîner et petit-déjeuner superbes. Odeur de cheminée persistante. Eau pas suffisamment chaude pour prendre une douche.

AMAZING Food!
Cedrela Ecolodge was the best place I stayed during my visit to Costa Rica. The staff was friendly and very helpful...not jaded by excessed tourism. The property was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant food was AMAZING! This was the best food I had during my stay in Costa Rica. Fresh, locally sourced, and healthy. It is important to me to know where my food comes from, and how it is prepared. The food at the lodge was spectacular. I will stay here again!

All the reviews of this lodge are accurate. It is a special place with special views. We were here for one night during the rainy season. There was a fire laid in the chimney which would have been welcome at night when it was cool but the hotel was unable to provide matches! There was an empty box by the fireplace… A few quibbles: Be aware the access road is in terrible condition and the alternative route is only practicable in a 4x4 There is limited hot water. What there is in the shower is serviced by a mini electric heater with exposed wiring that would not pass muster in the US or EU. There were no bedside or reading lights in our cabin The tin roofs resound with falling rain drops. All i can say is i could not sleep because it sounded as if someone was tapping the roof all night The lodge is a shade more expensive than most. The restaurant is trily outstanding indeed we had trout in an orange sauce which was Michelin* quality but the price of a meal without wine was £60 or $75 per head which is London prices or more.
