The hotel is very stylish and the location is great. We got the room in the back building. When we checked in the front desk staff escorted us to the room. I thought he was really nice but actually because the room is very difficult to find. We walked to another building in the back of the hotel, took the elevator to second floor, then walked little bit and then walked down the stair to our room.
The room is smaller than I expected. It located on the ground floor, close to the dumpster and the hotel kitchen. There is a security right above our window. The worst thing happened at 4.00 am when we woke up because restaurant’s staff threw the trash in the dumpster. It was so loud! I’m pretty sure there were some glasses in the trash bag. We were trying to get back to sleep but couldn’t because other staff keep dumbing trash. It was the worst experience ever! We couldn’t sleep until 6 am the we decided to get up and left the hotel.
We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. We got the Double Absalon Room. Here’s a breakdown of our thoughts:
The Good
• Great Location: The hotel is conveniently located near København Station, making it easy to travel around the city.
• Breakfast Selection: The breakfast spread was decent, with a good variety of options to start the day well.
• Helpful Staff: The female staff members at the check-in counter were friendly, approachable, and provided great service.
The Bad
• Inconvenient Room Access: Our room was located further down the hallway, requiring us to navigate multiple steps and doors while carrying luggage. This was quite inconvenient and unexpected.
• Privacy Concerns: Despite placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door, staff still entered our room while we were out. We returned to find chocolates and a card left inside, which, while a thoughtful gesture, would have been better received if handed to us personally at breakfast or reception.
• Unsafe Bathroom Design: The bathtub and shower setup felt outdated and unsafe. My wife nearly slipped, and the floor flooded after each use, forcing us to use towels to prevent slipping.
• Lack of Convenience: There were limited charging points in the room, and we had to rearrange furniture just to create a charging station.
• Small & Uncomfortable Bed: The bed was surprisingly small, even for two average-sized Asian adults (both around 1.7m tall). It felt cramped and uncomfortable.
• Strange Room Layout: There was an additional door leading to another room, which made us feel uneasy, especially after the unexpected entry from staff earlier.
Overall Impression
The hotel did not meet our expectations for a 4-star stay. It felt more like a 3-star experience, and given our concerns about privacy, convenience, and comfort, we wouldn’t recommend it to travelers looking for a relaxing stay. In contrast, we had a much better experience at IBIS, which offered better facilities and a more enjoyable stay.
Great location! It was close to the central station and convenient for sightseeing. The check-in and check-out process was smooth.
Amenities were almost nothing, no fridge or kettle. I guess that's what you get for being cheap. If you just want to sleep, this is a good hotel.

Lovely hotel, very nice staff, good room with comfortable beds, fresh clean decor, good shower.
Free cocktail on arrival. Quiet district, calm atmosphere in the hotel. Near the train station, easy access to all the tourist atractions. Wild Horses cafe across the road for a cool vibe at breakfast (and much cheaper than the hotel itself). Would totally recommend.
The location is between the airport and the main attractions, suitable for self-driving, free parking, and convenient
The hotel is relatively new and the decoration is relatively modern, but the room is not big
The breakfast is quite rich and not bad

Great for a short week in Copenhagen. Walking distance to the central station, the main shopping street, and some of the tourist-spots you should visit if it’s your first time in town. We especially liked the roof-terrace which has excellent views and is a bit of an oasis in the buzzing center of Copenhagen. Recommend!
Wonderful experience at villa copenhagen. The check-in took a little too long because we booked 1 large bed but they put me to twin room. The lady receptionist tried to solved it best as she could. We stayed here 2 nights. The rooftop pool experience is a must for the visit. The room interior is fully and classy decorated with high quality materials. Bed was nice. I recommended this hotel if you transit by train. The location is right by the train platform, back exit. The lobby bar vibe was cozy and lively.
I've always liked the Scandic chain of hotels. They are all unique, friendly staff, great breakfast, clean and well equipped.
If I were to nitpick, it would be the terribly slow WiFi speeds in this hotel. It was good enough for messaging and Spotify, but not YouTube or streaming news and sports broadcasts.
Perfect hotel and it's not the first time we've come. But at the reception there are unprofessional and badly behaved people .... and because of their fault the hotel will lose customers .... Especially in the evening of March 4th to 5th there was such a badly behaved person that we were about to leave for another hotel . Then on the morning of the 5th he changed and he was great.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Tivoli Hotel in Copenhagen, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a charming blend of modern comfort and classic elegance.
The location is perfect, just a short walk from the iconic Tivoli Gardens and other major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities I could ask for, including a stunning view of the city skyline.
The dining options were also fantastic, offering a variety of delicious meals that catered to all tastes. Overall, my experience at the Tivoli Hotel was exceptional, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Copenhagen!

Very Good
GGabrielle LeungA very cute and suitable place for solo travellers, I am a 160cm girl, and stayed in the top room. Service was really nice the moment we stepped in, staff helped me checked in when I had some issues. With my height, I can sit up straight on the bed which was very comfortable. If you are lucky enough, you can get a room that are rather inside instead of near the main corridor where lots of people will walk pass, which was nice cause it was quiet. There are two main bathrooms and sauna, I didn't use the sauna so I cont comment in that but the bathrooms and showers were nice, the only problem was there were no conditioners so if any girls want to use conditioner remember to bring along with you. There are also no flip flops provided so also remember to bring that. Outside in the social area, there is food and drinks that can be bought as well as vending machines if you have forgotten anything. Additionally, there is a public kitchen where you can use the fridge, microwave, and kettle, etc. Inside the rooms, you can change lights using the app and can also connect to the Bluetooth. Highly recommend for introvert solo travellers!! Definitely an experience to try
GGuanjiaderiziSomeone swiped their card to get in in the middle of the night and complained to the hotel, saying they were responsible for sanitation, which is nonsense.
OOuzhousheyingtuanyixianshengThe hotel is in a very good location, in the city center, a classic style hotel, clean and tidy, with a rich breakfast. The hotel is located next to Copenhagen Railway Station, and it is very convenient to go to surrounding attractions.

AAlex LBooked Coco hotel on a sort of a rush for New Year and by a recommendation from a friend. When I checked the reviews later on was a bit hesitant about my decision, complaints about cleaness, noise, service.
In my case I found all the opposite.
First great surprise: I had to make an ammendment on my booking and Coco hotel staff was accomodating.
Service and communication: Before my arrival, I made few inquiries by email to Coco Hotel. I got everything sorted out, the replies were fast and got tons of useful information.
Room were not big, not great but for Europe and Particularly Copenhagen standards were good enough
I stayed in Winter so a fridge wasn't something i really needed.
Room service came everyday, very clean and kind, always with a smile.
Coco Hotel also has a very nice Coffee/bar on the first floor. I was staying on the level 1 (not ground level) and hardly heard a noise
Lonela and Saulius at the frontdesk were always responsive and very very ver kind.
SShahrani Yahya Arifthe staffs were friendly, hospitality was good. the pastry during breaksfast was scrumptious. location and view - perfect combination!
NNana+Location is super good, just opposite to metro station not more than 2 mins walk. My room was located Ground floor next to passageway, you'll hear pedestrian talking which a bit noisy though... but you paid what you get in terms of location, cleaniness also with Nespresso coffee machine and free daily capsule this is value for money.
Will book Tiffany Hotel if I plan to go Copenhagen again. I enjoy my stay and it is convenient to anywhere in the city.
VVeraViktowe were a family in this hotel for 1 night. really liked the location. the metro is 3 minutes walk, it is very convenient. we bought a ticket 24 hours and managed to see a lot of locations. The double room is small but comfortable enough. good bed, clean. there is everything you need. breakfast is long from 7 to 11 o'clock, it's convenient. breakfast is sufficient - egg dishes, yoghurts, sausages and bacon, pastries, cheeses. very friendly front desk manager. in addition, I want to indicate that we arrived 3 hours earlier and we were immediately settled in a room, it was ready, we liked it, we recommend the hotel!
金金It takes a few minutes to get off the subway to get to the hotel. The location is not particularly convenient, but the style of the hotel is superb, breakfast is also very good, our room type bathroom with floor heating will be very hot at night, it is worth living
NNahir ElkfuryExcellent location, near city center and the gastronomic area as well. It’s 10 min walking from the train station and a 10-15 min train that leaves you at the airport! Half an hour walk next to the canal to city center. Recommended. The room is quite small but fitted the travel cot without a problem. Nice view from the 12th floor. Bathroom has a shower and is all glass so not much privacy there. The shower was flooded but after i let them know, they fixed it. The hotel has lockers which you have to pay only 20 dk and can leave your luggage until 00h, basically all day! Super helpful after our 11 check out but flight departing at 22. Also a nice option is self check in and out.
ZZHAOXGIt is already autumn, and hotels in Northern Europe are still very expensive, 3-4 times more than in April. If you are short of money, you can book the Youth Hostel. The 8-bed room is relatively small, but it's enough for a night's sleep. They are all young people, and there are also couples who come to live. Two bathrooms, three bath rooms. The bathroom is good and the shower is a bit close. It's very close to the railway station, just outside. It is inconvenient to swipe the card at the front desk, and a chip card must be used. Breakfast is ok, 55 CZK, freshly baked bread.
