Hotel Bella Grande

Central hotel in walking distance from the main railway stationa and one minute from town hall square. Despite central location the hotel is located in a quiet side street to the town hall square. Newly renovated and clean. Had booked 2 single rooms. Both quite small but everything needed was there. Very nice rooms and bathrooms as well. All very clean. Very personal reception at arrival. Very friendly staff at the reception. Nice areas for eating breakfast and dinner. All in all a good experience, but the following has to be mentioned: 1. The doors to the hotel rooms are very thin or badly isolated. You can hear EVERYTHING from the hallway. Quite strange when thinking of the hotel is newly renovated and the hallway is only avaliable to the people staying at that exact hallway. 2. We had a very nice dinner at the resturant one evening. Great food, but the male waiter gave us a really bad vibe. When he realized that were't interested in any wine/alcohol for our dinner it got even worse.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend in room 302, and it was truly disappointing. The room was spacious but poorly equipped—no phone, mini fridge, bathrobes, or other basic amenities. We didn’t have hot water, only lukewarm, and the shower curtain clung to us while showering. On Sunday, our second day, we didn’t receive housekeeping service until I requested it at the front desk at 4:30 PM, despite being out since 10 AM. The front desk attendant was alone and eating behind a wall, which left a poor impression. We asked for a late checkout at 12 PM instead of the standard 11 AM on Monday, and they requested additional payment. The hotel has aesthetic appeal, but that’s about it—no real service and more expensive than other 4-star hotels in the area. Definitely to be avoided.

Excellent staff, great location, great internal restaurant. One block from Tivoli Gardens. Two blocks from the train station, and ten minute cab ride to Ny Haven waterfront. Rooms look out over internal courtyard. Donna's Italian restaurant is their in-house restaurant. Excellent! I would definitely stay there again.

We booked a room for four and they gave us a two bedroom with twin bunks. Perfect for a family of 4. No parking - but central location walkable to key attractions and neighborhoods. Breakfast was included and it was an impressive spread. Highly recommend.

Disappointed. I booked and payed for a "Superior room" but except for the extra floor space, the room was _very_ basic and lacked most things that you expect from a "superior" room: - the hotels booking page said "view over the city" but our view was over the courtyard - the hotel webpage said "shower and bathtub" but we had no bathtub - there was no safety box in the room - there was no (instant) coffee/tea available in the room - the "mini bar" was _very_ limited and there was no fridge - no ice machine available to guests (needed to call room service) - no Chromecast, and the Netflix app on the TV could not be started - no iron/ironing board available in the room (needed to call the reception) - the breakfast was extremely overpriced and you had to pay extra for e.g. fried eggs Not worth the price!

The locatie was perfect. They did not clean the room the second day, They did not tell the parking on the street was free from saterday evening till monday morning so it costs us a lot of money to park in the garage. The garage is also not close by but for us it was no problem, that was also because the hotel was in the city centre. The room was very small, Because of the friendly staf it gets 3 bullets
