The hotel is close to the lake, the rooms are large and clean, the buffet breakfast has few varieties, the service is average, the surrounding environment is poor,

Best hotel in Copacabana and a great jumping off point to Isla del Sol. The staff was great, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful. The power went out for all of Copacabana the night we stayed, so no lights or hot water, but they came on sometime in the middle of the night.

Excellent quality hotel - lovely everything! Great views of the lake, excellent location, very well designed rooms, excellent maintenance (everything worked and was in good condition) comfortable, great breakfast and helpful staff - very happy with it. It costs more for a Bolivian hotel, but great value overall. Can’t fault this hotel and enjoyed it.

If you are not eating, good hotel. If you want to eat, terrible hotel. The hotel has good, clean rooms. We had 3 meals there. All were very slow. At dinner, after more than 1 hour, the kitchen served us RAW chicken. The manager on duty, Helmud Manzaneda, admitted the chicken was raw—it was dangerous and completely raw below the surface. He apologized. Clearly the kitchen is overwhelmed. Two days later, the general manager, Elizabeth de Vera Loza, called to say the kitchen always uses a meat thermometer. At least in this case this was just not true. Hard to see why she would claim that when the manager on duty admitted the food was raw. To sum up, good rooms, terrible/dangerours food, unprofessional management.

Bellissimo hotel sul lungolago di Copacabana. Curatissimo in ogni particolare. Personale eccellente gentilissimo. Pulizia ottima, camera ampia, dotata di ogni confort e con terrazzo sul lago e di vista eccellente. Buona la colazione e valido anche il ristorante dove abbiamo cenato. Ottimi Wi-Fi e rapporto qualità prezzo.

Nice location with water views and close to the main square. Our room was large with plenty of storage space, desk, 2 lounge chairs and table, in room safe and 2 beds. No fridge though. Separate toilet and bathroom. Poorly designed shower in the bath meant water went all over the bathroom floor. Small TV with only Spanish language channels. Wifi generally worked ok. Free water provided in the room. We ate dinner in the restaurant and while service was slow the food was ok. Breakfast selection was ok but no eggs or coffee to order.

Right close to the hotspot of Copacabana on the lake - rooms are very nice and quite big - staff is very friendly - bedding good- breakfast ok maybe a bit small variety - free soap, shower shampoo and conditioner - bathtub and shower - little balcony

This is probably the best hotel in the town, great staff, a beautiful room, well designed to Western standards and a great view of the lake from the third floor. A glass wall in the bathroom afforded a view of the lake from the shower. They also provided us with an oxygen tank to the room for 180 bob which helped us a lot with the altitude. What I didn't like was the shower over bath. The shower head was too close to the wall so I found myself with one leg up on the bath rim to try to get my body under the shower properly. Also the water was often not hot in the morning. It was explained to me that they couldn't have an elevator because the power supply is unreliable, so if you have trouble with stairs as I do, I suggest you request a first floor room. Although it's a great location near to the lake, there are no cafes, restos or convenience stores close by. A bottle of water is provided on your fist day only. A snack bar at reception would be great. Despite the negatives I have no hesitation giving this hotel a five star rating.
