The owners were very kind and very helpful . The room was very well appointed. Quiet off road Just a very refreshing and relaxing stay. Plenty of room to get my bike n trailer off the road n outta sight . Very pet friendly. Definatly in the do it again book.

One night stop over in Coonabarabran, Coachman's Rest presented excellent VFM, owners were really accommodating and very gery helpful. Pets allowed and welcomed which was a must for us, owners wanted to know our Dogs names as well..... Only down side is a little road noise but otherwise would certainly stay again if i was in the area. Room was very spacious as was the bathroom, everything was very neat and everything worked as it should Good Stay .....

The nicest thing about this motel is the owners. What a lovely welcoming couple. First time we visited was 3 years ago when it was looking a bit tired however they are gradually renovating the property and when we stayed last December and again in March we had a lovely room both times. As we travel a lot with 2 small dogs, some of the ‘pet friendly’ places we have stayed in I wouldn’t recommend, however I can safely recommend this motel. We will be back.

If this was the last bed in Coonabarabran I would sleep in my arms, filthy, mold on shower base and ceiling, power points didnt work. ***** hairs on shower base.No breakfast disgusting place and felt extremely unwelcome

Tired and dated motel. Room was spacious but very dated and not particularly clean. TV didn’t work nor did the toaster. Freezer hadn’t been defrosted in a long time and found two week old milk left in the fridge. Very disappointed to be charged too dollar for this motel.

Just a quick stop over here. I wouldnt stay here again to put it simply. This motels interior hasnt been updated since the 70s, litetally, other than a microwave. Discusting mould on the tea towels, ants all through the bathroom into the entryway, shower pressure is similar to those drinking taps at primary school we used to use- barely working. Worst of all there are giant holes in their driveway, some around blind corners. The owners couldn't be bothered to quardern off the large ones properly. While i was there i saw a 4x4 drive into one of them and cause damage to its front end. Its obvious that hygene of the rooms and the safety of its patrons vehicles are not high on the priority list of this 5 star dump.
