We stayed here for one night on our road trip while we visited the nearby national park, selecting it because we are IHG members. It was a typical Holiday Inn experience for us. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and helped us find a place for dinner. The room was clean. A couple improvement suggestions: our room had a torn window shade that did not go up or down very easily. Secondly, the chaise lounge was very narrow and not all that comfortable to sit on. There’s enough room for a love seat in its place which would accommodate 2 people. At the very least, a small table by the chaise would be nice.

Reserved a room a week of so in advance, arrived, checked in, went my room to discover that the shade was somehow tacked up on the window and totally non-functional. Went back to the front desk and was told that they knew about the problem and had no other available room. No advance heads up, not even when I was checking in, no apology unless a form email says later and in response to a complaint counts. Attaching pics.

Disappointing management highlights our recent 3 night stay at this property. We have visited this hotel several times over the past several years when we are visiting the Dunes area, but this will likely be the final time we stay here. The general manager needs a dose of customer service training. Tiffany, the assistant manager, is wonderful, it is unfortunate that her talents are not shared by the general manager. The problems with our recent visit involve some seemingly preventable issues with the breakfast. The first morning we were there we were informed the pancake machine was broken, there were none of the HI Express "signature" cinnamon rolls available, there was no yogurt available, there was no fruit available. The breakfast attendant was doing the best she could, but people were understandably annoyed. We also learned there would be none of these items available until the "truck" came in two days. I expressed my frustration to the general manager only to be told "there's nothing they can do, her tone was ambivalent and uncaring. I mentioned I didn't stay at this property for a Days Inn quality breakfast. Overall this tainted our next 3 days, and with many other properties available in the area we will be looking elsewhere on our next visit.

The rooms were clean and comfortable however the floors in the public areas/elevators of the hotel were filthy; almost like the've never been cleaned.

Great place to stay The hotel has a friendly, helpful staff. The room was maintained well and the housekeeping was above many hotels that I have stayed in. Breakfast each morning was fresh and they serviced a great variety of items.

Our first room only had the sheer shade at the window, which looked to be wired as an electrical shade. Unfortunately it did not work, no power to the switch, and there was no privacy shade. We alerted the front desk. They offered another room. That room had issues with the tv that kept cutting out with a message that said it had lost connection and that we needed to contact our internet provider. Once again, the manager at the front desk was prompt as coming to the room to fix it. There were loose wires in the back of the tv. Both rooms had stained carpet, the second had leftover popcorn under the sofa. Also both room the furniture had stains. I required a handicap accessible room due to a recent injury. With the second room not having the equipment that we needed for safety in the shower, the manager did provide a shower seat to us. We also found a hair in our bed, but by this time we were exhausted and just brushed it out. One of the washclothes that we used still smelled of ladys perfume, not like a typical hotel linen smell.of freshly bleached and sanitized linens. The lobby appeared to be clean. We will be traveling to this location quite frequently in the future, and will not be staying at this motel.

Clean, friendly staff. We had horrible upstairs neighbors kids running, and jumping for two days . Breakfast was okay same items everyday no variety.
