Rude personnel.
Very cramped room. Bathroom was almost as big as the room.
No air conditioning.
Not sure what the smell was in our room. Maybe a cleaning product. My nose was burning after 30 minutes and had a Bloody nose for two days.
Bed was soft and very comfortable.

The Super 8 is located right on the main road through town on US Highway 212, not far from the northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Check-in was just about possible at reception shortly before 8 p.m., but those arriving later had to look for their name on an envelope with the key card on the board. The hotel is quite old and does not really have a comfortable atmosphere. The room and bathroom were clean, however. The access door at the back of the building could only be leaned ajar and was thus open all night. The staff was distant and avoided eye contact. Very limited selection at breakfast. Wifi, however, was better and more stable than "threatened" at check-in.

The Mountain Hotel is a typical American guest house with average facilities. It is relatively expensive in a tourist area. The front desk basically doesn't care and has no service. The facilities are adequate.

We loved our stay at the Super 8 in Cooke City. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains, the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed the morning breakfast. Hope to stay again in the future!

Go if you are ok to drive for 30-40 mins to get into park with slow drivers. Book this motel if you are caring enough food because power outage might close all local restaurants with no food. Made a mistake to check the amenities. No AC in the rooms and no elevator.
