3-Star Hotels in Contrexeville

In the middle of a rather deserted farmland and a sleepy town, suddenly a huge hotel arises with swimming pool, spa, huge restaurant, billiard room and much more. A bit further down in the city there is a real Casino. The Cosmopolitan hotel has old fashioned oversized rooms with all modern comfort. Nice beds, rich breakfast buffet. Traditional French hotellerie at its best, for reasonable prices. Unfortunately the weather in May did not invite us to take a dive in the pool, which was filled with shining blue water and surrounded with a hundred deckchairs beside the hotel, waiting for guests to arrive. Diner is very good and again reasonably priced. We took the paté and as main course Dorade, but on nearby tables were also tempted by coquilles St.Jacques and filet de boeuf. Deserts are only € 6, all very good.

Nous avions réservé une chambre PRIVILÈGE. Donc un certain prix.. Pourquoi avoir classé moyen ? Et bien, si la chambre lit oreillers matelas présentation propreté impeccable des détails qui ont leur importance sont à rectifier. Nous sommes arrivés le 10/11 à 17h. Très bon accueil de la réceptionniste. Température extérieure 9 degrés. Arrivée dans la chambre et bien un frigo, les radiateurs arrêtés...donc le temps que l'on retrouve des degrés acceptables et bien on garde les manteaux un bon moment..... Pas mal non... Une boîte à mouchoir dans la salle de bain: plus que 4 dedans . 4 malheureux cintres en plastique bas de gamme dans l'armoire...j Je rappelle que c'est une chambre PRIVILÈGE... Ah oui j'oubliais : Sur la fenêtre de la salle de bains donnant sur l'extérieur et bien un isolant opaque est mis pour préserver votre intimité, mais dommage, il est fendu vers le milieu......j'ai oublié de le signaler..avec les cintres....mais ça c'est visible tous les jours par l'équipe responsable..... Le reste signalé le matin de notre départ :” Ah oui excusez nous ce sont les femmes de ménage”... LOL Je m'en doute ce n'est pas le Directeur qui fait les chambres... Mais bon l'esprit commercial un café offert pour s'excuser...non ..mais ça c'est autre chose .. Ce sont les détails qui font la différence..... A bon entendeur
