Our stay at The Dongola Guesthouse was simply outstanding! The property is beautifully maintained, full of charm, and offers a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. This guesthouse truly lives up to its name – here, the guest is king. Karin and Claudio's service is exceptional, with a highly personal and heartfelt touch that makes you feel at home from the very first moment. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired – everything is fresh, delicious, and carefully prepared. The entire place is clean and well-kept, creating a true oasis of well-being for body and soul. We can highly recommend staying here, but make sure to book early! We will definitely be back. We have just stayed Claudio and Karin for 5 days. It’s a great guesthouse to explore the delights of Constantia and nearby Cape Town. Lots of nearby wineries and great restaurants, all easy to find and park - or why not get an inexpensive Uber to sample the delights of the excellent wine on offer everywhere. The team at The Dongola are excellent, and give everybody a warm friendly welcome. A lovely breakfast room, outdoor terrace and lounge with honesty bar. Pool and loungers mean you don’t need to venture out if you want few lazy hours in the sun. Would thoroughly recommend for a quiet suburban location with lots of offer nearby.

Wir waren das 1. Mal bei Karin und Claudio im Dongola Guest House 🇿🇦 und haben die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Ein herzlicher Empfang und extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die beiden 🇨🇭 Gastgeber waren immer da und man konnte sich austauschen und Tipps bekommen. Wenn wir nicht zum Golfen waren lagen wir im Garten am Pool oder saßen in der Lounge. Gekühltes Wasser und Obst stand immer bereit. Und einen sehr gut bestückten ,gefüllten Weinkühlschrank aus dem man sich bedienen konnte. ( Vertrauenssache/Liste) gab es auch 🍷👍🏽 Eine absolute Wohlfühloase. Man kann im Hof parken. Wir kommen sicher wieder Danke liebe Karin und lieber Claudio 🥰

This is a lovely guesthouse. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The pool is beautifully warm with wonderful views from the very pretty garden. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. We had a large suite consisting of a bedroom and sitting room with a small kitchenette. My only mild complaint was that the sitting room was a little dark and our outside patio was very small. It was beside the quiet road. However some of the rooms lead out on to the gardens or the swimming pool area. The location is good if you want peace and quiet. The TV was tricky having thousands of channels so finding the one you wanted took some time! Overall I would thoroughly recommend this guesthouse.

Unser Aufenthalt im Dongola Guesthouse war einfach unvergesslich! Die Unterkunft besticht durch stilvolle Eleganz, absolute Sauberkeit und eine Liebe zum Detail, die man in jeder Ecke spürt. Die traumhafte Lage mit ihren atemberaubenden Ausblicken lädt dazu ein, Kapstadt und die vielfältige Umgebung auf einzigartige Weise zu entdecken. Karin und Claudio sowie ihr wunderbares Team führen das Guesthouse mit so viel Herzblut und Herzlichkeit, dass wir uns vom ersten Augenblick an wie zuhause fühlten. Alles war bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht – von der geschmackvollen Einrichtung über die behagliche Atmosphäre bis hin zum herrlichen Frühstück, das jeden Tag zu einem besonderen Erlebnis machte. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an dieses aussergewöhnliche Team, das unseren Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht hat. Wir können es kaum erwarten, wiederzukommen! Herzliche Grüsse Roger & Priska

Unser Aufenthalt im Dongola Guesthouse war einfach traumhaft! Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön, sauber und bis ins Detail durchdacht. Die Lage bietet atemberaubende Ausblicke und ist perfekt für Entdeckungstouren rund um Kapstadt. Der Service war aussergewöhnlich herzlich und aufmerksam – man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Schweizer Touch: die Liebe zum Detail, die präzise Organisation und die makellose Perfektion. Alles war bis ins Kleinste stimmig und perfekt abgestimmt. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team für diese unvergessliche Zeit! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
