What a lovely place !! The room we had was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The views from our window were stunning. Breakfast was delicious, all of the ingredients were good quality and freshly cooked. The restaurant area was really popular for evening meals . The service was fast , the staff who served us were friendly. But the star of the show has to go to the pies !!!

Delicious homemade pies served fresh and hot. Just what us shandy drinking southerners want. Very busy so make sure you book. Friendly service. Popular. Make sure you log the vehicle registration otherwise you stand a chance of receiving a parking fine.

Popped in For an early tea whilst in the are. The Anchor had been recommended to us and we weren’t disappointed. These were the pies we’ve ever had. Proper potato chips and Veg. We could hardly move afterwards but it was worth it Would definitely recommend a visit but be sure you’re hungry.

Stunning location - breathtaking views. Room was large, comfy bed, great en-suite shower room. Tea and coffee and complimentary water and biscuits. Easy to park. 10 min drive from wedding venue Healy Barn. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Would definitely return, thank you Anchor Inn
