What can I say? Amazing staff and a gorgeous hotel with an idyllic setting.The bedroom was cosy and I was greeted with such warmth. Very clean and tidy.Couldn’t fault it! Car parking isn’t a problem at all,with plenty of spaces.The hotel grounds are breathtakingly beautiful,over looking Coniston water. It’s only a 10 minute walk from the hotel to Coniston village via footpath.The people are friendly and always offer to help if you’re lost or looking for something.Lovely little village. Would I go back? I loved my stay here so much.I will be going back. The Coniston Inn is a dream hotel. The Coniston Inn Hotel is a dream 😍

Great location, short walk from the town and close to the lake. Parking included. Lovely lake views if you pay extra for a room with a view. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in at a hotel. Hard seam down the middle where two singles had been joined together which resulted in two nights of awful sleep. Room was okay, no fridge, bathroom was nice. Breakfast was nice, buffet style but plenty of choice. If it wasn’t for the location I would be disappointed but that saved it.

We spent two nights at The Coniston Inn and had a brilliant time. We arrived a little later than planned, around 6pm, thanks to a slight mishap with the 505 bus (word of warning: some drivers seem to prefer stopping opposite the public loos rather than at the actual bus stop !) Check-in was genuinely one of the best we’ve experienced ,quick, friendly, and really well explained. The manager at reception made us feel very welcome, set expectations around the wifi and had us sorted in no time. Super efficient and professional — it really set the tone for the stay. We only saw her on our first day, she was great! Now, the setting... absolutely breathtaking. The inn is tucked between a lake and the hills, and the views are just magical. Our room was spot on, clean, cosy, and nicely done up. The bed was really comfy, and we appreciated thoughtful little touches like a spot to leave your muddy boots (a small thing, but so useful in Lake District weather!). We also had dinners at the inn, which were lovely. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back. A proper gem of a place in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

Awful place saff are rude food is late I would keep away from this place it's terrible. The bar manager is horrible and doesn't like people ruined our stay thank Coniston Inn for your horrible experience you're staff need to think about the customers bar staff are horrible

Had an excellent stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly they were always willing to assist me especially at meal times (breakfast). Due to my disability i am unable carry items. Apart from all that, a beautiful location, just what was needed for a lovely chill by the lake.

Stayed there before some years ago. We decided on a return because of the location, next to Lake Coniston. Check in was a mess it wasn't manned and one of the bar staff who was unsure of what to do checked us in. I don't why they offer online check in it didn't make any difference, a complete waste of time! We had dinner the first and second evening and to be honest it was very good although ordering the food and drinks was difficult as some of the bar staff who were very nice and apologetic were new. It's an OK Hotel in a great location. We enjoyed the stay and would certainly return
