Dietary requirements and the knowledge it was a special occasion for my friend which I notified the staff about when I paid the deposit were ignored. As a result my friend could only eat the two pieces of toast with hummus but not the small sausage roll or the ham sandwich. These were presented on a single plate. Cakes were very good. The gentleman who served us was pleasant but in shorts which took away from the celebratory atmosphere I hope we would be dining in.

I stayed overnight while attending my nieces wedding. Great hotel, lovely staff, good food and clean, tastefully decorated rooms. The gardens are beautifully kept and pleasant to sit in. I would definitely recommend it.

I booked afternoon tea for a friend and I for part of my birthday celebrations, we had the most amazing experience the food was amazing and the same for The service, the venue is exquisite, garden is amazing , we will definitely be back. The Alexandra court is absolutely beautiful for any celebration wedding, birthday , christening, you name it . Thank you so much for a lovely memorable afternoon

Second time I have stayed at this Hotel, always a great stay. Starts with easy parking, warm welcome at reception and a quick check In. Rooms superbly decorated and very clean, easy to open windows. Great to have a Shower which works, easy to use and hot. Breakfast comes with great choice and hot coffee and well served. Staff are very helpful, good at what they do and smile In a morning. Was nice to have a coffee In the gardens before setting off for the day.

This hotel has it exactly right. Staff are helpful but never obtrusive. Breakfast was generous and well-thought-out. Rooms have what you need, but nothing superfluous, and are spotless. And it has character. And a warm welcome, and places to socialise that are different yet comfortable. We plan to come again.

I stayed here for the night when on business in the area. I arrived after a particularly long and unpleasant journey and was greeted by a lovely gentleman on reception who kindly carried my overnight case upstairs. The room wasn’t the largest but never has a hotel bed looked so clean, crisp and inviting! It didn’t disappoint either. The location, despite being on a main road was lovely and quiet and the heavy blackout curtains and fan in the room, made for a great sleep. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the room had loads of plug sockets which made a welcome change! My only disappointment was I was only there for the one night :)

Stayed twice as been working locally.this hotel does not miss a beat. I have recommended to family and will return whenever I'm working within 1hr. Staff are really friendly and hotel is immaculate. Looking forward to staying for leisure. Great breakfast. Can't say enough about y you should choose to stay here !!

Stayed for three nights while in the area for a family funeral. The hotel is beautiful, the room was spotless clean and very comfortable, beds were fantastic, slept really well. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We now won’t need to look for any other accommodation when we visit family in the area, this was ideal and we highly recommend it.

I checked in later on in the evening and was greeted really warmly and given a tour of the hotel. The room was warm and very bright, with beautiful views over the garden. The next morning at breakfast, I had a wonderful service from Marcio who was so cheery and helpful. The staff at this hotel are amazing and the location is perfect for a lovely walk in nature as very near a country park, literally 2 mins right out of the hotel. Would visit again.
