Amazing! Nature at its best!Rock climbing, fishing, beach walks, 4 WD . Clean, friendly, great little store. No bitumen No aggressive lighting clean amenities. No plastic no glam loved it! Would be busy in school holidays as has a playground, tennis court and family atmosphere. Guy done a great job greeting us! Happy friendly and took the time to show us the fishing spots on his map! Go out and explore and enjoy this beautiful area!

Made the trip to experience the far east of our state. Not withstanding the amazing Wharton Beach . Unfortunate for a very sad episode. However , the park is a typical 60,s ex camp style which had served its purpose, rough , but take it or leave it as there no where else . Camp is clean tidy , and welcoming, its Not the RAC, or Big 4, but down to earth, and loved by lots. Thank you host who go out of there way when required.

What a great location. Beaches are great. Same about all the dirt bikes in the caravan park. Too much noise for a caravan park. Children all riding parks through the park and not repecting any road rules. Came for a peaceful weekend and it turned into a motor cross meet.

We were a little disappointed we booked in early March, so we could all get a spot together, but somehow we were broken up. Anyways first time here, we loved our caravan spot , ablutions near the cafe were mint. Unfortunately the busiest caravan area ablutions were too small . The shop was handy , has most essentials and does a good bacon & egg toasties for breakfast. It’s only a 2 minute drive to Whartons beach , there is an air compressor & fuel if required at the park as well. Kids enjoyed the playground, there’s a tennis court, plus a mini golf course for the fam to play as well. The park is old school & not a flash RAC park , but we all enjoyed it.

We stayed in the unpowered section as family. The nightly cost was $76. For this there was no camp kitchen (there is one in the powered area), no sinks for washing up and the shower/ toilets were located over a hill nd out of sight down the access road (not ideal with children). The surrounding area is beautiful however the park itself was disappointing and certainly wasn't worth the cost. Staff however were helpful.

The website is quite misleading as it states children's playground, tennis courts and mini golf. These are in the park but very rundown and sad. The toilets and showers are not kept clean ,so very sandy and wet with nowhere to put dry clothes or towel when showering but the water is good pressure and hot. There are 2 laundrys, one was closed as not operating and the other had 2 /4 machines not working. No dryers. The sites are all sand and for the week we were there we did not see anyone tidy up any sites of leaves and other litter about the park. We found the "camp kitchen" a bit of a stretch in calling it that as it had only 2 sinks to wash up. Usually it is common to find fridge, toaster, kettle and a cooktop for campers to use. The location is a beautiful spot on Australia's South Coast, and the park was fully booked out. It is a shame that the park is not being well maintained and care taken of it.

Nice large campsites both powered and unpowered. Great shop that also did food. No pjone coverage or very patchy. The amenities could really do with an upgrade as very few toilets and showers. No where to put clothes in cubicles. Camp kitchen was awful. Sinks only. Could do with a huge upgrade as could be a great place to sit, cook and meet people when the weather is bad...which it was and we were under can vas

From the moment Orleans Bay Road is ending the sights fill the windscreen and fills one with wonder. Only an hour on from Esperance the Orleans Bay is worth the trip. And with soooo much to explore, or for a quiet (romantic) 4 day stay, The Duke is just the place. Be it camp, caravan or cabin, there is lots of space and plenty to offer. All the usual facilities are available; clean and functional, with luxury rainfall HOT showers. There’s even a Mothers Room especially for safe comfortable child care. Plus lots more available from the store. An great range of foodstuffs, general goods, icecream and treats. Plus fuel, air pump +++ And all topped off with fabulous customer service. Spend the time and I’m sure you’ll be back or take away memories to last a lifetime. Plus fishing vests for safe rock fishing,
