This is a modest hotel with large rooms and comfortable beds. The carpeting could definitely stand to be replaced but otherwise it’s clean and everything was in working order. There is a good selection of food at the free breakfast. They also have a pool which is well maintained. The staff were wonderful! The front desk staff were helpful and accommodating—giving our family adjoining rooms with our in-laws upon a late request at check-in. The cleaning staff were also very kind and helpful. It’s really a family atmosphere. It was perfect for me and my boys for a short trip to visit family.

This hotel is in a lovely historic area of Concord. They offer a fabulous hearty breakfast which has a wide variety of options. The rooms have a patio which is an added bonus. The property is clean , the water pressure in the shower is very good. This is a great place to stay if you like to hike or bike ride or enjoy the outdoors.

The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the staff. They were great. Our room was well below acceptable. The tub was peeling, the sink faucets were leaking, the room temperature was difficult to regulate, Our supposedly handicapped accessible room had a tub that was impossible for us to use, rather than an accessible shower, and the toilet was not high enough. The final straw was the false alarm Sunday morning that led us to leave earlier than we might have, apparently caused by steam from someone's shower when they left the bathroom door open. We feel we paid $406 for a stay at a 1 star hotel. We've always liked Best Westerns but will never go near this one again. It needs a total redesign and renovation. Or just tear it down and build a better one.

The location isn't great as it's 1-2 miles out of Concord but near to the main roads. We had a big and comfortable room with a bath. Breakfast was quite nice, especially the sausage and hash browns but we had to use plastic cutlery. Free water and coffee etc

Yes, this looks like just another ordinary motel from the outside. It's not. We were greeted warmly by Tanya, the Front Desk Manager. As soon as I mentioned the chocolate chip cookies on the counter, we were off. This lady is funny, helpful, witty, efficient, funny, welcoming, and did I say, funny? She is clearly a people person, and her job is perfect for a person of that inclination. She made a special trip to our room to bring Cindy an extra blanket. That's great service. The room was very well appointed. Nice beds, plenty of shelf space, a refrigerator, nice shower and bathroom, and easy to control room climate (the temperature outside was 97, so we needed that). A lovely outdoor pool, and a well appointed fitness room. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with the expected offerings, but all very well done (Cindy commented that the eggs were particularly good). Only 4 miles from Walden Pond, which is a great destination and one we swam in two days in a row. We will be back to Concord, and we will be back to Best Western. I can only hope that Tanya is there to offer cookies and wit.

The building was so Old and battered and overgrown with brush and shrubs you couldn't enjoy the outside area or the pool.the tv in our room didn't work for the 7 days we were there. Always digitizing ! The hair dryer did not work the doors to get in the building did not work, the guest printer for paper did not work! The breakfast was edible but not good , the beds were so hard my hips and shoulders Ached!! if I hadn't bought this on a website package deal that wasn't refundable I would of been gone after the first day!! The staff was nice enough but not very helpful after complaining about the tv for 2 days I just gave up,nothing was solved or fixed for the entire week ...I will never be back! And absolutely not handicapped accessible for someone with a walker ,there was no elevator and the breakfast is served upstairs !!

I booked the suite in July, 2021 to stay there in June, 2022. I received a call in March that my suite would be unavailable, as a lady had moved into it and did not intend to vacate. Incredible! I had a confirmed reservation. I was sent a new confirmation, after speaking with Samantha by phone, stating adjoining rooms, since we're traveling with a child, and also stating queen beds. When we arrived at 6 PM, we were told adjoining rooms were not available then but housekeeping would get them ready at 8 AM. My husband & I slept apart as one had to be in the same room with our grandson. All had double beds. By 10 AM, nothing had happened toward preparing adjoining rooms and the morning clerk knew nothing of the problem. By noon, we were finally moved into adjoining rooms, but no queen beds as the confirmation stated. Everything was "doubles." Not comfortable sleeping when you already have queen at home. My original reservation stated "king" in the suite. This night's charge was removed from our bill, which I greatly appreciated. The next problem was losing the hot water for the whole building for two days. Not nice after walking the battle trail all day. Mass. ground water is chilling to say the least! The clerk said we were compensated for that, but we were not. My greatest displeasure was upon checkout and being presented two bills with two different confirmation numbers. My original emailed confirmation stated "adjoining rooms." At checkout, the second bill had a different confirmation number "because we had two rooms" the clerk stated. But why wasn't that emailed to me in March if that was another confirmation for me? Makes no sense. The amount of money did not bother me nearly as much as the way the business is run. Definitely could use some interventions. The A/C is great. Breakfast was fine. Those girls worked hard to keep everything hot and ready. Pillows are terrible: little square things that when you roll over, your head falls off. Beds were comfortable, sleeping alone!, but sheets are scratchy. One I removed as it was so thin, it had turned completely brown and looked disgusting. I switched it with the extra bed in my grandson's room. Safety is still an issue. The broken door mentioned in an April review is still unfixed. Instead of using a card, just pull. It opens right up, but it hardly shuts anyway unless you shove it. Maximum security prison is on the same road. Communication among staff is poor. Dis-appointment

If you are looking for a place to stay without children, then you may be comfortable here. The pool was broken. One of the entrances couldn’t be used and guests in our party complained about a musty smell in their rooms. The rooms were decent. Be aware there are long term residents that stay in this hotel. One in particular harassed us from the moment we walked in. She was miserable and clearly had issues with children. She spoke to their guests about us as we were pushing our luggage in our room!! While we were right there. We complained and were told she is “always like that”.

This is an aged property with smaller rooms and no real frills. That being said it is value priced and provided clean lodging. There is a breakfast spread that is hosted on the second floor that they include in the rate. Notice I said "include" and not "free" or "complimentary" since no motel/hotel in the world has a "free" breakfast...they merely bake the cost of it in their rates. One note about the breakfast. Please get some better quality forks! The plastic forks were so cheap and flimsy that they would bend trying to cut through Cool Whip. I didn't have any problems with noise but my brother heard plenty of stomping around in the room above him in this two story property. So, get a room upstairs if you can. The location is very nice with a great, but pricey, restaurant right next door. If I was ever in Concord again, I would not hesitate to stay here if offered the same rate.
