Private Frontage on the Frio River! Conveniently located in the heart of Concan on River Road, this residence provides direct and private access to the river. Sit out on the back patio and enjoy beautiful views of the Frio River at this lovely one story brick house. Fully stocked kitchen and dining area connected to an open living room. Large patio with plenty of seating and an outdoor barbecue grill. Bedroom one has 2 queen beds and a twin, with an attached bathroom. Bedroom two has 2 queen beds and an attached bathroom. Bedrooms three and four each have a queen bed and share a bathroom. There is also a bonus living area with a twin over full bunk. Access the river via a private staircase, and set up on the natural rock patio along water's edge. Enjoy swimming, fishing, bird watching and photography along the Frio River. Spacious yard with horseshoe pit. Washer and Dryer provided for your use. Bedding and Towels are included! (You must bring your own towels for the River) The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils. We will provide a welcome package including toilet paper and 2 paper towel rolls. Please bring any other paper products that you my need: paper plates, cups, plastic silverware etc. for outdoor use. Wifi and Satellite with SmartTv included Primary Guests Age 30+ (Children welcome with accompanying adults)About pets:No pets allowed.NO PETS. Location was great. The property definitely need some upgrades and needs some attention with regards to property maintenance. please read the list below.- the door code would not lock either of the doors. We had to manually lock the front door and then hit the garage button and run out before it closed.-Light in garage out-Ceiling Fan/light in patio bedroom are doesn’t work-Lamp in back bedroom off porch doesn’t turn on (no knob)-No batteries in bunk room remote-no living room remote for the TV so TV didn’t work-Cooking utensils provided are flimsy and not strong enough to cook with. I was afraid of breaking. I am glad I had some of my own. They would not have worked. -flood light going down stairs didn’t work-light at gate out front doesn’t workSeveral of these are safety issues and others are advertisements for amenities that were not accessible or usable. I understand that it is a camping house, but it would’ve been nice to have some of these things working especially since they were advertised.Overall, we did have a good time and a good experience.

Great family get away We were celebrating my son coming home on leave from the army, the house was fantastic and cozy, the patio was a great “dance floor” once the sun went down, the stairs down to the river were a bit scary but worth it! The only thing that could make this place better would be a pool! But honestly, it wasn’t missed! We had an amazing time, no one was bored, it was a perfect family retreat with a breath taking view

Driftwood '25 We had a great time! Going down and stacking rocks and looking at the stars was fun. Only thing I would say is maybe include where the breaker box is, the kitchen breaker popped and we had trouble finding it. Other than that it was a lot of fun and we loved grilling on the patio. Thanks so much!

Good location Having direct river access was great but the stairs are extremely steep so it’s difficult to get tubes and coolers up and down. The house was roomy and has window units in the main part of the house. For the most part they kept everything cool except the back bedroom window unit did not keep that room cool. There is no dishwasher so recommend washing everything before you use because we found many utensils were not clean. Overall, it was a good stay and the owner answers questions immediately… great communication.

excellent stay! we had a blast here! definitely recommend for a large family! stairs are a little scary going down to the creek behind the house but we had a great time!

Relaxing The house was nice and had old styling which we loved. The stairs to the river were steep like mentioned in several other reviews but we were all able to get up and down them from ages 5 to 40. River was nice once down there and was perfect depth for 5 and 10 year olds and deep spots were a short walk either way as well as a 4’ waterfall up river. Three of the rooms and a bathroom on the right side of the house are recently renovated but the other rooms are nice as well. I recommend this place if you don’t mind steep stairs to the river.
