Wat een fantastisch verblijf! Ik heb hier 9 dagen mogen overnachten en heb erg genoten. Elke dag een ander ontbijtje wat vers wordt gemaakt. Maurice is een geweldige gastheer die je alles kan vertellen over de omgeving. Met uitzicht op het zonnige plein word je elke dag vrolijk wakker. De kamers zijn zeer schoon en je komt niks tekort. Vanuit Cómpeta ben je snel in Malaga, Marbella, Grenada en veel andere plekken. Maurice, heel erg bedankt voor het geweldige verblijf. Tot snel!

An excellent Boutique Hotel in a fantastic location. The owner, Maurice is exceptional and does a different breakfast every day, which is to a very high quality.
The experience is unique and the views from roof top bar/dinning area are beautiful. Definitely the best location in Cómpeta

Super godt lille hotel/B&B i Cómpeta
Vi overnattede 5 nætter. Ankom efter midnat, men havde inden fået meget fine instruktioner fra Maurice, som også var vores vært under opholdet.
Maurice var meget imødekommende og hjalp os med vandreruter, restauranter m.m.
Vi nød den frisklavede morgenmad på tagterassen - selvom det godt kunne være lidt koldt på denne årstid (oktober). Hver dag fik vi 2 nye retter, som var tilstrækkeligt til en god start på en (halv) dags vandring i bjergene.
Almijara Residence er et meget lille "hotel" med kun 4 værelser, men alt fungerer bare. Værelse 201 på 2. sal har fin udsigt over torvet og bjergene.
Vi kan varmt anbefale Almijara Residence.

What a fantastic whirlwind visit to Competa and how lucky that I came across Almijara on an online booking service. Maurice was a kind, knowledgable and gracious host, honestly nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely, modern furnishings, spacious shower with very good pressure. The atmosphere from the plaza below so relaxed, delicious breakfast on the roof terrace with breathtaking views. I'm waxing lyrical here I know, it was that good, and no, I'm neither related to them nor taking any favour by sharing with everyone what a super stay I had. Thank you to Maurice and the Almijara team.

I organised a Wedding Brunch for some dear friends to celebrate their mid week wedding . Maurice went out of his way to decorate the table for us and even left the couple a lovely wedding card and took photographs for us. The 5 course tasting menu brunch was fabulous and so unusual and was accompanied by a delicious bottle of cava. The bride felt so special and it was a magical experience for her with the backdrop of the beautiful church . Thankyou Almajara Residence. Highly recommended.
