We came for the Sunday Carvery and we did have to wait 50 mins, however, saying that, it was worth the wait! The food was delicious and they were very apologetic about the wait. My only reason for 4 stars is the wait, outside of that, it would have been five stars! If you are coming, try and book after 3pm, it quietens down then.

Stayed in this beautiful old hotel for two nights and it was delightful our bedroom was lovely clean and comfortable liked everything about it .So nice to see the water mill working we had lovely evening meal and breakfast at the restaurant,the staff are so nice and friendly.Now the absolute stunning grounds are truly beautiful and well maintained it was a pleasure walking around on such a sunny day Wish the new managers well and a successful venture ,we will definitely return .....O yes I nearly forgot George the lovely peacock .

Lovely Sunday roast, staff friendly and helpful, food delicious Only complaint table set up near the carvery, too uniform, felt like you were sat at school and not enough room between the tables otherwise would definitely recommend. Beautiful setting.

Delightful small hotel in beautiful setting with a pond, ducks and a resident peacock. This converted mill still has lots of original, interesting features. Room was spacious and well equipped, our four-poster bed was comfortable staff very friendly, food excellent. A perfect base for exploring Somerset. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. (If you are lucky enough to be there on a Sunday, they do a fabulous roast carvery .... absolutely delicious)

What a place to find. Absolutely beautiful. Everything about our stay was lovely. The character and charm throughout. Staff were fantastic and had put some balloons in our room as requested. The food was faultless. The best steak I have eaten…just melted. We squeezed in a full 3 courses as we didn’t want to miss a thing. The full breakfast the following morning was at the same high standard. Will be going back for sure

A lovely place to stay. We went for a 'mini break'. Loved wandering around the grounds, enjoyed playing the games ! Food was amazing ... we weren't there for lunch .... think Sunday lunch is the speciality ... but we were there for dinner on Sunday. A plated up roast ... huge portion, absolutely delicious. Their website said not open for dinner on Sunday night ... but just call them, they are lovely & if they can make it happen (on Sunday night), they will ! Fab breakfast !

This idyllic setting and from the moment you arrive it feels like you are visiting friends. The staff really go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Nothing seems to be a problem. This incredible old mill offers wonderful rooms. Ours had a four poster bed. The breakfast is delicious with a good number of options. We stayed 3 nights and ended up in the Hotel’s restaurant every night. Great food and excellent value. Really nice after a day touring round the countryside to just relax. After dinner felt it was a must to have a nightcap in the bar.
