Delightful small hotel in beautiful setting with a pond, ducks and a resident peacock. This converted mill still has lots of original, interesting features. Room was spacious and well equipped, our four-poster bed was comfortable staff very friendly, food excellent. A perfect base for exploring Somerset. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. (If you are lucky enough to be there on a Sunday, they do a fabulous roast carvery .... absolutely delicious)

What a place to find. Absolutely beautiful. Everything about our stay was lovely. The character and charm throughout. Staff were fantastic and had put some balloons in our room as requested. The food was faultless. The best steak I have eaten…just melted. We squeezed in a full 3 courses as we didn’t want to miss a thing. The full breakfast the following morning was at the same high standard. Will be going back for sure

A lovely place to stay. We went for a 'mini break'. Loved wandering around the grounds, enjoyed playing the games ! Food was amazing ... we weren't there for lunch .... think Sunday lunch is the speciality ... but we were there for dinner on Sunday. A plated up roast ... huge portion, absolutely delicious. Their website said not open for dinner on Sunday night ... but just call them, they are lovely & if they can make it happen (on Sunday night), they will ! Fab breakfast !

This idyllic setting and from the moment you arrive it feels like you are visiting friends. The staff really go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Nothing seems to be a problem. This incredible old mill offers wonderful rooms. Ours had a four poster bed. The breakfast is delicious with a good number of options. We stayed 3 nights and ended up in the Hotel’s restaurant every night. Great food and excellent value. Really nice after a day touring round the countryside to just relax. After dinner felt it was a must to have a nightcap in the bar.

Me and my boyfriend stayed last night .. all I can say is beyond beautiful … had. I no complaints at all ! Room was stunning stayed in room 5 .. ( however he did get sacred when George the peacock chased him haha ) had dinner and breakfast… lovely food no complaints.. staff where beyond helpful and so welcoming really nice people … just felt so chilled out … grounds are beautiful .. would highly recommend.

First impressions were good. The building is old and attractive, carefully renovated to stay in character, sitting in carefully maintained and interesting grounds, with a large pond, streams, mature trees and other points of interest. From there, things only got better. All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room (there are just 8) was large, comfortable, had a good outlook and was well equipped. The shower, for example was very efficient. Our venison hotpot from the smallish dinner menu was delicious, as was breakfast. The stay here was a great antidote to driving and the bustle we all live with. We'll look for excuses to return.

Delightful two nights stay. Lovely gardens, quiet rural location with a warm welcome from friendly staff. Comfortably appointed rooms with modern facilities in a historic building. Varied menu to suit wide tastes. I would recommend the venison pie with soft melting pastry served with a range of beautifully cooked vegetables.
