never again, abhorrent customer service. The owner makes excuses for all the faults and flaws, actually threatened to kick us out for making our valid complaints because he is the owner. complaints raised as follows 1. the air conditioner did not work, were told to go and borrow the cabin next door( they had left with their new baby and dogs due to the crappy overheated cabin) we proceeded to reset the air con every 30mins at the electrical mains box as shown by owner. 2. asked for a 3rd towel was given a threadbare torn towel as told "park could not keep up with laundry during holiday period." You're not staying at the Hilton or sheraton" 3.bbq was filthy, informed reception and was told " doesnt have time to check the all the bbqs (there are 4) " and we could clean it ourselves. 4.the kayaks are broken and a hazard Cabin 4 had not had their bed made up and then needed to ask for linen, owner came knocking on our door to give us the linen as we watched from the dam, a glamping family had to ask for a different tent as fridge wasn't cold, they needed milk stored for their baby. they were told they can use the communal fridge as fridges were "chinese" and couldnt hack the heat. It was a 36C day on check in, were asked if we wanted to purchase wood for a fire, ummmmm no. Fire danger thanks! The location is lovely but it really isn't worth paying the price they charge for sub accomodation and rude service. such a shame as I scout for locations to hold conferences and retreats

A lot to improve on but a fair try at glamping Toilets were a mess and overflowing onto the grass’s area. No toilet paper twice. Neighbours arrives after 10pm with headlights shining in our tent. Believe the tent spacing is too close for any privacy.

Not Great Tent city, crowded park, shared kitchen, bathrooms, banked up outdoor toilet next to tent that could not used advertised as “ensuite”.

We went during winter and weren't aware that there was no internal heating, we booked the basic site. Do yourself a favour and upgrade. Location is good and it's a good way to experience the Coonawarra as there are limited accommodation options available, despite it being a fantastic place to explore

We stayed in the Hampton Bubbly 1. The concept is a great idea but not worth $249 for 1 night. Here are my cons and pros: CONS - we visited in August and the oil heater supplied did not warm the bubble up at all. It was so cold inside. It was warmer outside by the campfire. - my husband used the toulet/bathroom behind the camp kitchen & he said they were disgustingly filthy, though the toilet in the blue shed near the caravans was clean. - the smell of plastic inside the bubble was not very nice & consistent - couldn't see through most of the windows as they were foggy looking or yellow tinged due to weathering and age (they weren't foggy due to condensation) - not sure of the fake grass throughout PROS - peaceful location - close to wineries & Penola - staff friendly - bubble was something unique & different to stay in - deluxe upgrade was great - bed comfortable with electric blanket - own fire pit. Maybe visiting at a different time during the year would have provided a different experience in the bubble.

This was a great camping experience in South Australia - especially for non-campers like us. The facility provides all that you need.

We enjoyed stargazing with the provided telescope. Great for looking at the moon and just enough to pick out some binary stars. Common areas like the kitchen and bathrooms were serviceable but not especially clean.
