one of the older Paradores, we have been 3rd time there for 4 days. The location is amazingly (views, quietness) and personell so lovely! Top notch service, old but excellent condition and maintanance. Guided Pool!

Es un Parador bien situado si se va de camino a Galicia, confortable, tranquilo y con buena gastronomía. Como bastante campechano, sin estridencias ni demasiados lujos, pero proporciona una estancia agradable.

Hotel muy flojo para ser un parador, aunque sea de tres estrellas. El personal es muy amable, pero las instalaciones son muy viejas, las puertas tienen llaves antiquísimas y las paredes son de papel, se oye todo lo de las habitaciones vecinas y del pasillo. El restaurante tiene una carta escasa y con precios de Parador. No tiene spa ni servicio de masajes. Lo mejor es la piscina, que solo abre en verano, y las vistas. Tampoco hay mucha competencia en Verín y alrededores, supongo que por eso no les compensa arreglarlo y modernizarlo, pero falta hace.

Dieser Parador liegt auf einem Hügel, etwas außerhalb der Stadt an der spanisch-portugalischen Grenze. Es gibt Zimmer mit toller Aussischt und welche ohne. Für eine Nacht o.k. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut, aus unserer Sicht ein gutes Preis-Leisungsverhälntis. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und vielfältig. Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer und das Bad (mit Badewanne) sind großzügig.
