Hyatt House Columbus/OSU Short North

Dogs started barking around 6 am in a room near us . I called the front desk twice and went to the desk in person twice. No one seemed eager or cared that these dogs were barking and howling for a total of 3 hours , waking everyone in my room up.(I have video of the barking ) . Finally a supervisor followed me upstairs. I was offered to move my room if I wanted . Breakfast was mediocre. The homeless guy in the green stretch pants sitting in the lobby charging his phone while everyone was eating was just fantastic. I go to Columbus a lot and won't be back at this location nor would I recommend it to others . Overall noisy hotel . Was with a 16u travel team playing at Berliner

Some of the best customer service. Everyone was extremely nice. Very satisfied with the hotel. I would definitely book again. Monique at the front desk was fantastic. She went above and beyond her duties. I really cannot stress how much I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Thanks so much.

Great location, good property, and the lobby area and the suites are spacious. But when you check in, you may want to request that you don't get one of the rooms where the bathroom doors come off the rollers. Because the door is 100 pounds and some may struggle to close the door. And when Maintenance fixes it, it will happen again. And this problem is not limited to just one room.
