The Junto

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and offer large bathrooms. The service is outstanding, with sincere, friendly, and attentive staff. The hotel and rooms are exceptionally clean, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Super nice hotel right across from COSÍ. Valet was great too with superb service from Cecelia. In the heart of downtown Columbus.

From check in until we hopped in our car to leave, (thanks to the excellent valets) my sister and I found the Junto to be amazing! Drew, at the reservation desk, was charming and fun! He shared great information, offered suggestions and remembered my name each time I saw him! Our host in the restaurant, Michael, was so cheerful and quite the handsome salesman. Although we were just checking the menu, we stayed at the restaurant on his recommendation and split a tremendous ***** steak, corn and grits casserole, and the cheesecake too. The red wine and martinis were so right. Our server was Mo, and he was attentive and made all the right recommendations. We chose to go to the rooftop bar on a different evening and Adam made delightful old fashioned drinks for us while sharing the fine details of bourbons, whiskey and even espresso martinis. We met a manager named Matthew while we were there and he shared great information about Ben Franklin that follows. Without exception the team members were more than pleasant. The lobby is probably the most unique feature of this hotel. It’s a library with a nice bar and cozy fireplace. It’s such a great concept with the root word of Junto meaning “to join.” It’s the the name of Benjamin Franklin’s club where thinkers gathered to discuss morality, politics and much more per Matthew. The place is classy and I joked that each studious and well put together person in the huge lobby/library was a beautiful paid actor. The room was terrific, comfortable and quiet and my sister and I loved sitting in the huge window seat to drink our drip coffee each morning. The big queen sized beds were so comfortable and the linens were elegant. The price was quite congruent with the hotel, but it was worth every penny. What an experience! We loved it!
