The only thing that’s truly renovated about this hotel is the lobby itself. The pictures you see of the rooms on the website are not what you actually get in person and the room was extremely outdated. The paint was peeling, the carpet was dirty, the sheer curtain was barely hanging onto the window, there was a hole in the ceiling surrounding the sprinkler that they stuffed with Kleenex, and there was a roach in our room. I was quite surprised and overall disappointed in our stay.

The breakfast was very good and the staff was amazing. The room was very clean and I love that they’re pet friendly. Amanda did an amazing job cleaning my room. And Chris helped me fix my tv, thanks Chris! I will definitely be back when I visit Columbus again.

Another wonderful stay! It amazes me how CLEAN this hotel is! Breakfast was good and all of the workers so very friendly! We were asked each time we came into contact with an employee how our stay was going and if we needed anything! We will be staying again!

Room was clean, roomy, bed was very comfortable. The staff was very nice with easy check-in and check-out. You can tell the hotel is a little dated but you can also tell the staff does a great job taking care of the place. The water pressure in shower was weak but a minor issue considering the overall experience. As someone who rarely stays outside of the Marriott or Hilton footprint, this LaQuinta Inn rivals Hampton Inn and Residence Inn respectively. Would definitely recommend this hotel if in the Columbus area.

We have stayed in a few hotels in Columbus and I would rate La Quinta highly based on a mix of quality, comfort and price. The location is good with plenty of eating and shopping options nearby as well as being convenient to major road intersections making access to the hotel easy and connections straightforward to Columbus, to Fort Benning or indeed onwards to Atlanta. While all the staff were professional, pleasant and helpful I would like to single out Davida who went above and beyond in helping us modify a congratulations card for our soldier.

Don't waste your time. Hotel needs repairs. Doors won't close to several rooms. Bad neighborhood! Even though this is in a business district.
