I experienced a bed bug infestation and had numerous bites on my body when I checked out. The hotel has not been transparent about how they are handling the treatment of the room and I would warn anyone booking here to take the next acceptable alternative. Bed bug bites are no joke!! They had a good breakfast but who really cares about that if you are itching and in pain!

The hotel was in good location but everything else was poor. Not a lot of parking. The luggage carts didn't have enough air in the tires and were very hard to push. The hotel is split up and hard to find our way around so we went outside and then in. Many things wrong with the room. The front clerk got our TV working. Breakfast was okay. On checkout asked to speak to manager who was not available and asked the manager to call us. After we called 3 times, finally talked to manager. This stay was disappointing as we expected better from Hilton.

Homewood Suites by Hilton, founded in 1989, is an upscale, all-suite, extended-stay brand under Hilton Worldwide, with more than 530 locations across the United States and several in Georgia. This property is a mid-rise building near a lot of stores and restaurants. It is located on the south side of Whittlesee road and just off SR 80, making it easy to get around the area. Check-in was quick and the lady that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel shows a little age in spots but was clean and comfortable. Our suite was large and well laid out, though the shared TV positioned between the bedroom and seating area was a bit awkward. The rear entrance door was broken during our visit, which made returning from the parking lot slightly inconvenient (you had to go around to the front door), but overall, the property felt secure and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast was nice and the hotel had a nice eating area just behind the entrance area. Overall, this Homewood Suites in Columbus, GA, provided an enjoyable and relaxing stay for us and I would recommend it for fellow travelers visiting the area.

The staff was friendly and helpful in getting our reservation canceled once we pointed out several issues with the room. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was unacceptable—dirty linens piled in the corner, a refrigerator that sounded like a generator running nonstop, and poor overall cleanliness. I emailed photos and video of the conditions to both the hotel manager and the Hilton Diamond Desk. Their resolution was 5,000 points, which I found insulting considering we had to book another hotel for four nights. As a Hilton Diamond member for over a decade, this experience has me seriously reconsidering my loyalty. I understand minor imperfections can happen, but this was far beyond that—it was unacceptable and should be an embarrassment to the property. Strongly recommend avoiding this hotel at all costs.

The staff was nice. The property itself is pretty run-down though. The AC unit in My first room was taken apart so I had to ask for a different one. My shower stall door was broken. The ice machines were broken. One.of the entry doors was broken.It was hot in the hallways and there was an unpleasant odor in the rooms. I paid way too much for the room given all that.

I’m not sure what is going on at the hotel, but they need to get the air fixed before they continue booking stays. Lobby and hallways are 80 degrees. Rooms are hot! I expressed my concern and I was told my air would be checked. Woke up to a room that is as 78 degrees and just told I’m sorry. Stay away until they get this issue fixed!

Well we arrived early for my sons basic training graduation and was hoping to get in the room a lil early as we were going to the family day and we didn’t get to check in till after 3 the lady at the desk was highly rude in the get go definitely needs more training on customer service. We also had ac problems where the room wasn’t getting cold just the living room was , the tv wasn’t working properly and my family wanted to grill outside while swimming and the grills were just nasty and terrible enough that I would my family eat off of it . Needs renovation asap
Hotel extremely dated. Room didn’t match description. Originally we were given room with torn couch , center part of couch completely ripped to show the sponge underneath.
Tried to contact ********** to refund but they could not be reached. Fortunately front desk gave us another room. It was much better but still dated.
