Residence Inn Columbia Northeast/Fort Jackson Area

My husband and I were in Columbia for my husband to have orthopedic surgery which required two over night stays. The staff and service at this Residence Inn exceed our expectations. Everyone was so attentive in helping me care for my husband both during the pre-op and the post op time. There were three individuals who were especially helpful, Tatyana, Wanda and Lolita. A special thanks to each of them.

Pamela is fantastic and definitely represents the company positively. She's the best customer I've had in a long time, and I travel for business every week for the last five years. A great asset to the hotel!

I needed some assistance with a couple of things and the employees were quick to respond. Specifically both Meagan abd Ke’le. They were also very friendly with a smile!! Breakfast was great too! Not just the usual scrambled eggs and grits. A great breakfast selection.

Rate a 5 I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing service we received this morning from the person working the breakfast area—I believe her name was Pam. She was genuinely kind, welcoming, and always seemed to be in a great mood, even early in the morning! Pam made sure everything was clean, well-stocked, and fresh. She even took the time to check in with guests to see if anyone needed anything extra. It’s the little things—offering a smile, making more coffee when it ran out—that really make a difference during our stay. Starting the day with such a friendly face and thoughtful service truly set a positive tone for the rest of our trip. We genuinely appreciated it. Thank you, Pam!

This was our 2nd visit here — and once again, we have Director of Sales Amber to thank for giving us the Bonvoy VIP treatment. We were fortunate to have a fabulous 2-Bedroom (Queens)/2-Bath Suite with a tub in one and windows that opened for a breeze. It all began with a lovely greeting from Megan, who graciously helped time our arrival to the room’s readiness and that was so very appreciated. Just how clean the hotel is in every aspect came back to us from our first visit here in 2022. Staffers are just as friendly and accommodating as Megan. That includes Jean, who will surely impress you with his coat and tie appearance, as well as his professionalism. Be sure to grab a brochure explaining every aspect of the hotel’s operation, times and locations. So very helpful! Laundry room is massive (wash and dry, $2 in quarters each), the fitness room has machines and free weights, and there is an ice machine just off the Lobby. You will enjoy breakfast, with those delicious scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, breads/bagels, fresh apples/oranges, Chobani yogurt cartons and individual fat-free milk containers.
