My daughter and I stay here for daddy daughter night for women's basketball. The location is perfect as you can walk to the arena and the service is always amazing. It is an older hotel and they charge for parking even though it is a dedicated lot - seems that would be included as they aren't validating from a garage. Breakfast wasn't the best this year but is included- we will be back.

Our room smells like ********* through the night. Not sure if somebody was smoking that outside but it got in our room and was not pleasant

The room was great clean, fresh linens. Overall a fantastic room. When our family tried calling the front desk we were on hold for at least 10 minutes. The staff was being rude and giving us weird glares. The free breakfast was good but the coffee station kept running out of things that could be easily restocked. We tried to get a late check out but they wouldn't pick up our room phone and we had to send someone downstairs to ask the receptionist. Overall the experience was enjoyable but the staff lacked the Hilton experience.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was decent and fresh items were always being brought out. It is centrally located and we were able to walk to most things.

Stayed here twice in one month. Extremely friendly front desk--good job there! Breakfast has great options, kind of a tight space if they are full. I like: the location, as you can walk to the State House and plenty of restaurants; the breakfast; friendly staff; easy and free parking. I don't like: no key card required for elevator or stair access---this is a safety feature I prefer in downtown locations, so I try to stay close to elevator; rooms need some upgrading, the plugs can be loose and there was no power to charge phone on one side of the bed during my last stay. Finally, this is not hotel's fault at all, but tip for other travelers is this neighborhood is fine during the day (easy 4-5 block walks), but as a female traveling alone, I don't venture further than across the street after dark. Also, restaurant tips: Blue Marlin is across the street and is great, there's also a great Mexican restaurant literally around the corner.

Great location in Columbia
The hotel is conveniently located to several restaurants and all of downtown Columbia. Felt the area was very safe. Room was clean and very quiet with plenty of space. Shower was spacious with good water pressure. Parking was free which is a nice treat compared to most hotels in Columbia. Free breakfast was good for a quick bite.
