When I arrived Atia the young Lady at the desk greeted me so warmly and with a smile. She made me feel as if she was happy I was there. What a wonderful way to be welcomed after a long drive. Atia was so very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. After I finished check in I went to car to retrieve belongings and when I entered another Lady was at the desk with Atia and she smile and also welcome me so friendly.,Atia then introduced me by name to her co worker. When I got to the room it was very clean and the perfect temperature. I relaxed immediately and felt so comfortable. What a wonderful STAFF they have here and the hotel is in a perfect location for many activities here in Columbia.

I had a great experience during my stay at Home2 Suites Columbia Downtown, thanks to Talia and Destiny at the front desk. Both ladies were incredibly nice, welcoming, and very accommodating. They went out of their way to be helpful anytime I had a question or needed something. Their professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness truly stood out and made my stay even more enjoyable. Give those ladies a raise.

Delta Stays (*******) screwed up our reservation and as a result we appeared as a no show and didn't have a room. Rendel was at the front desk and was incredibly patient and helpful as I navigated Delta Stays (Expedia's) not so helpful phone system. It took over an hour to fix the reservation and Rendel was so kind and throughtful and helpful. He is a star.

Rooms are very nice! Sara at Front desk is excellent as were housekeeping and maintenance staff. Highly recommend hotel but when you check in be sure to ask about breakfast. On our visit their wonderful breakfast which is advertised all over the hotel was a total failure! No eggs, no fruit, no sausage, no bacon, no yogurt, and nothing which resembles their 400+ combinations available at breakfast. I tried to talk to the manager for over 20 minutes but she was too busy talking on the phone to talk to a customer!!

The room had a bad smell, even though it states the cleaning is done every other day it was only done once after a long weak stay. We did request the room to be cleaned but it was only done once.
The person in the breakfast area was very kind and nice during our stay.
