Historical railroad hotel just outside the West entrance of Glacier National Park. Rooms are clean but dated, quite noisy at night due to the train. There is no specific view or service that justifies the high price.

Old world charm for sure. Basic, basic room. Good water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. Every board in our room creaked and cracked with every step. The door to our room was a bit tricky and hard not to slam. No air conditioning. Tiny room. It was fantastic! We were on the first floor. We slept with the windows open and enjoyed every minute of it. No concern about safety as there just isn't any hint at all of it being a problem. The dining room served a delicious meal and there were good wines by the glass to choose from. Coffee in the lobby in the morning was delicious. All in all I would tell you that we enjoyed it very much. Yes it is expensive for what you would normally expect but get over it. Everything in the Glacier area (east and west) is expensive during the season. Get over it. Quit complaining about it. It is what it is and you will pay because you will pay. You only do it once in life so enjoy the journey.

Very nice rustic hotel just outside of Glacier NP. Rooms are comfortable but lack basic amenities. Very pricey place to stay but you don't get much. There is no continental breakfast only coffee and pastries. It was a nice experience but next time we'll opt for more amenities!

I booked a one night stay prior to joining a Road Scholar group to explore Glacier National Park. I found the chalet to be charming and quaint, it felt a bit like stepping back in time. The accommodations were pleasant and comfortable, I did not mind that there was no television or AC. The staff was friendly, professional and efficient. I enjoyed an outstanding meal at the adjoining restaurant of bison meatballs. I also appreciated the coffee and pastries in the morning. The close proximity to Glacier National Park is ideal and I won't hesitate to stay at the Belton Chalet on my next visit to Glacier National Park!

What a fantastic dinner - we made reservations for the following night before leaving. Fresh fish, homemade pasta - everything was beautifully seasoned and absolutely delicious. The chalet was constructed over 100 years ago - the wood work is charming. Our server, Brian, was attentive & friendly. Looking forward to tomorrow’s dinner!

Went to restaurant at Belton Chalet after hiking all day. My sister and I were dressed very casually. Our meals were wonderful I had the Bison meatloaf and a lemontini both were very tasty. My sister had a chicken entre Will definitely go back

This is a quaint old hotel. The room and bathroom are clean, but small with paper thin walls. In past years they could get away with no AC but with the warmer weather it gets very stuffy in the room. You don’t want to sleep with the window or door to the balcony open because the noise from the freight trains going bye all night keep you awake. They only have coffee and very small pastries for breakfast snacks

This was a truly wonderful experience. Staying at the Belton offered a charming, historic atmosphere, conveniently located just outside the park. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the restaurant provided the best dining experience we had during our stay.
