Fantastic resort with grassland and beautiful plants. Excellent staff services and amazing delicious breakfast. Close to Garden of Gods. Recommend to everyone and definitely will stay again.

A friend recommended Glen Eyrie. It's located next door to Garden of the Gods. The grounds are just beautiful, well-maintained and landscaped, surrounded by the tall red rocks like GofG. We had a room in the Big Horn building. Very good value, less than many of the chain hotels in Co Springs. The room was a typical hotel room, very comfortable. My friend was in the Castle which was furnished with antiques, and very charming, (long hallways!) but she had no view, and we had a spectacular view of the red rocks. The property has lots of hiking trails (it's on over 700 acres). Breakfast was included and was good.

A wonderful stay in the Oaks Lodge! The property is gorgeous and so peaceful. Loved the Castle tour,l amazing breakfast on the Castle patio, hikes right on the property, seeing deer, wild turkeys and even a big horn sheep! The room's comfortable beds and sitting chair were perfect and without a TV allowed extra evening walks, conversation and reading. All the staff and volunteers we met were kind and helpful. Definitely want to return in the future.

So glad I discovered this place. I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie. The setting with the beautiful castle with green grass, a bridge, and stone river running through property. Red rock formations surround and beautiful gardens add to beauty. We saw deer, turkeys, and birds. The staff and volunteers are so friendly. I think my husband and I were the only ones not attending conferences but felt so welcome. The breakfast buffets were superb with so many delicious options. The tea was my first and really enjoyed. Everything presented so nicely in a beautiful setting. It was a very special time we'll never forget.

The venue served as the perfect location to retreat to after a long day of conference sessions. Access does require ground transportation. Snacks can be purchased for a late lunch, but does require guests to leave the property to grab dinner. Staff accommodate my need for a small fridge for my room to be able to store my medication.

Pos.: Beautiful surroundings, we hiked and saw resident turkeys roaming in the morning on our way to a very breakfast spread with new choices the 2nd day. Very kindly get greated there by Bob who tried to remember out name. Calm fellow guests
Neg.: We stayed in a lodge but the room was across v noisy icemaker (why would they need it if they don't serve alcohol - wouldn't expect type of people who book here to bring their own). I rang twice during the night to have it switched off. They only put a note on it to ask people to not use it. Didn't stop the compressor from humming. We were moved the next day and was offered 20% rebate for one night, I declined and later accepted 50% off.
Neutral: wallpaper and paintings aimed at slightly older guests, i.e. tied in with mock Tudor castle. No TV in room but we knew that when we booked (ethos of venue) and didn't need it. No dinner options but delivery possible. Coffeeshop (pricey) closes at 4pm.
Apart from issues off 1st night, would stay again as better than chain motel/inn and price comparable if booked in advance. Can imagine to be fully booked in high season. Beautifull site to relax.
