Hampton Inn by Hilton Colorado Springs I-25 Central

I’ve booked a king room through Trips app for my stay at Hampton Inn Colorado Spring. My trip was prepaid online through Trips app for $388.10. When I went in to check in at the hotel, the front desk lady name Brittany had charged me an extra $346.38 for the same room. Plus an extra $60 charge for incidental fee. I’ve told her, my room has been paid for online through the app, but she said the extra charge of $346.38 will drops after I check out, but it never did. So this company had charged me twice for the same room I stay. A total of $734.48 was taken for the 3 nights stay, in which the room was ($118/ night). On the second night I stay there, the children above my room was running loose, screaming for 2 hours, making such horrible noises through the floor. Very upsetting and unpleasant stay. I’m giving this a a *1 star because they have not returned my money for over charging yet.

I’d like to give a huge shoutout to Jason & Keith at the front desk, they were both very welcoming and the ONLY two employees in this entire hotel that didn’t make me feel uncomfortable. The rest of the staff needs a lesson in hospitality 101 & diversity!! No one greeted me when they saw me coming their way, not even a simple smile!! The breakfast host came out of the back kitchen area, and when I said good morning, she looked at me as if I were an alien. It’s sad that in this day and age, people can’t just be nice humans no matter what the shade or color of someone’s skin is. I’m a team member, and it almost makes me sad that I work for a brand that would accept this type of behavior. I didn’t feel safe AT ALL!! Wouldn’t recommend this property to any person of color!

An excellent stay in every way. The hotel was modern, clean, quiet, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was equal or better than expected at a Hampton Inn. The room was well-appointed with lots of plugs and charging points. Wi-Fi was fast, the TV had a full complement of apps, the fitness center was clean and well-equipped. Breakfast was exactly as you would expect at a Hampton. It had a good variety of options and was restocked regularly. The hotel is close to I-25, the Air Force Academy, and many shops and restaurants--many within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel if you in the Colorado Springs area.

I recently had an early morning eye surgery, after which I was prohibited from returning home for a day, because of the higher altitude at home. I needed to stay the rest of the day, and the night in Colorado Springs. I looked for a hotel, but those I called seemed unwilling to allow me to check in early. I finally called the Hampton Inn Colorado Springs I-25 Central. Jason, at the Hampton Inn, graciously accommodated my need for an early check in. Jason was also most helpful at check in, and we felt well looked after. Our stay was excellent. This Hampton Inn served us very well. The room was clean and comfortable. My granddaughter, who was my chauffeur for the surgery, enjoyed hanging out in the pool in the afternoon, and the hot breakfast the next morning. In a while, I shall be needing surgery for my other eye, and my first call will be to the Hampton Inn Colorado Springs I-25 Central, where I shall be staying again. Hotel staff was super nice and helpful. Room was nice and large with great mountain view (for odd room numbers) and comfortable bed. Seems like room fixtures and such are on the newer side. Gym was adequate although equipment seems more on the basic side. Only complaint is there were not a lot of healthy breakfast options. Just oatmeal, boiled eggs, wheat toast and oranges for those who don’t want a lot of added sugar or salt. The yogurt was all sweetened. Some bananas were there one day but were terribly overripe and then they didn’t have any bananas the next day (I asked). But besides a lack of many very healthy breakfast options it was a great place to stay.

Hotel staff was very attentive and was interested in providing good service. Breakfast is good. Hotel is located near highway and also nearby eating and shopping places is a plus. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Overall good experience for us.

We arrived in the mid morning on the day of our check-in. We had flown in on a red eye and had driven an hour from Denver. We were pretty tired and hoped to get our luggage safely set aside in our room and get changed. The manager was very friendly and understanding. He and Dane helped get us checked in, even getting us a mountain view room. They brought up our luggage for us while we ate breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked. The manager prided himself on wanting to keep a clean hotel. We found out the hotel is only a few years old, and for the most part it wasn't too crowded. Great central location to popular attractions such as Garden of the Gods, Glen Eyrie Castle, Flying W Ranch, and Focus on the Family. The hotel itself had everything we needed: a delicious balanced breakfast, chilled water and fountains available, an indoor pool and sauna, and exercise room with some variety. The staff were friendly throughout our stay, and the cleaning service did a nice job every other day.

The staff I spoke to were really friendly - especially Brittany and another lady who got off work at 3pm on 7/30. The bed I slept on was super comfortable and when it’s time for a new mattress, I want to get the same one that was in my room. It was firm but not hard and rigid.
