Room was clean and large. The beds were very comfortable. Did not get up early enough for breakfast so can't comment. The pool looked nice but we didn't go in. We had an nice stay.

I recently stayed at the La Quinta Inn Colorado Springs North and had a very positive experience overall. When I arrived, one of their computers was down, which made the check-in process slower than usual. The line was even going out the doors at one point! However, the front desk staff handled the situation incredibly well. They remained calm, professional, and kept everyone informed while actively working to resolve the issue. As soon as the computer was back up, they got everyone checked in quickly and efficiently. Throughout my stay, the staff continued to impress me. They greeted me every time I came through the front doors, asked how things were going, and genuinely made me feel welcome. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast area was especially well-managed—staff kept it clean, fully stocked, and were friendly and engaging with guests. The only downside was that the pool was out of service during my stay, which was disappointing, especially during summer when many guests look forward to it. I did hear other guests expressing their frustration about it, so I would definitely recommend the hotel prioritize getting that fixed soon. That said, the excellent customer service, cleanliness, and overall warm, welcoming atmosphere more than made up for that one inconvenience. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to others.

Hands down the worst La Quinta I have ever stayed at. 1. People smoking foils in the parking lot. 2. Manager eating junk food, that was thrown on the checkin counter, where she was sitting down. While the other attendant struggled with the person in front of me and their reservation. 3. I only needed to get my key, I checked in online, there were two computers - yet the manager sat there eating chips and gummy bears. 4. Breakfast consisted of eggs and sausage that had been salted at least a dozen times and a bunch of processed foods. 5. No blow dryer or iron in the room 6. Fire alarms looked like they had black mold in them 7. The maintenance (staff only), door was across from my room, where someone was opening and slamming until 2 am? 8. Indoor and outdoor pools was closed - why have then at all? I usually love staying at La Quinta, but if I had to chose between that one and my car, next time around, I will literally sleep in my car! My suggestion: choose better!
