Just a crappy hotel all around and kind of in a ghetto party of town. Would not recommend.

The front desk folks are good and kind. The room was the worst one ever. Everything in the room needs help!! Holes in furniture, things falling off the walls. The floors were filthy as I noticed the mat after my shower was black with dirt on the underside. It should not even be offered as a place for people to stay! I feel scammed. It was that bad!!

The front desk staff were amazing. Upkeep needs to be better. When I got to my room, the battery in the smoke detector was dead, so it was beeping. I had to call to get Maintenance to the room to replace the battery. Then, the sink plug was stuck closed, and wouldn't drain. I went back to the front desk, and they talked down to me...telling me it was a push button drain. I knew that, and didn't need to be condescended to. They sent maintenance back to my room to fix it. Instead of fixing it, they just removed the entire drain plug, and never replaced it. Room 311, by the way. Great location...but I don't think I'll be staying there again.

Good sized room. Plenty of pillows on the bed with various degrees of softness and size. I was glad for the variety of pillows because I had failed to bring my own as I usually do. Water pressure was strong and hot water was plentiful. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative. In spite of having a shortage of housekeeping staff the desk was quick to address my needs when I ran out of towels when I spilled a drink on the floor (tile) not carpet. The only negative I had from my stay was the City was working on the roads nearby and they did the work at night which occasionally intruded on my sleep. This was not the hotels fault but apparently this schedule will continue for a few months city wide. For 45 a night plus tax though the room was a real bargain and worth it in spite of Colorado Springs works department working late every night.

The breakfast was severely lacking to the point that we went to the Circle K to get our coffee. The room was clean, but the bathroom maintenance was disgusting. Neither the sink nor the bathtub stoppers worked. We had to prop open or remove. The toilet did not flush easily nor well. We chose this La Quinta based on a fantastic experience at the La Quinta at the Denver Tech Center. We were extremely disappointed in the Garden of the Gods La Quinta.

For the price I paid, I’d prefer a better room & experience. The pool was closed! Only things good was the location was close to good food places.

They need to update their showers and toilets and light I did not feel comfortable showering because of the stains in the shower. The toilet barely flushes and wiggled out of the ground when you sat on it. Beds were good but the floors and around the base boards need to be DEEP cleaned! Overall the front desk was nice but this place really needs to invest in better cleaners or remodeling

The room was filthy. The bedding had stains and was dingy. The bathroom was beyond disgusting!!! Dirty floors, broken edges along the walls, and the bathtub was so nasty that I did not feel comfortable bathing in it.
