All the staff were really friendly. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed. The room was different than what I booked, but it still had a mountain view.
The breakfast was standard and the pork sausages were the best part of it.
The only negative I have about the hotel is that the surrounding area didn’t feel too safe. Inside the hotel was perfectly fine, but once you go outside there are many homeless people around the property. One even approached us as we were outside.

I didn't enjoy my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Colorado Springs. It was in a sketchy part of town and there were drunk hotel guests having a party in the parking lot until very late. My faucet was also leaking all night and I finally had to turn off the water at the source to make it stop dripping. I felt like the price per night was not worth the location or the quality of the hotel. Far too expensive.

During my family road trip, we really enjoyed this hotel to rest after the long day of traveling. The hotel looked newly renovated with large lobby. The hot tub was nice and the rooms were updated. Clean and comfortable and next to the highway with minimal noise.

Great location for visiting the sites near Colorado Springs. We found it an ideal location to access restaurants in Downtown CS and Old Colorado City. Plenty of parking, well appointed room which was cleaned on a daily basis. Breakfast was reasonable too.

This understated hotel was an excellent choice when needed while waiting for vacancy at my work retreat hotel. The shuttle service from airport was a short wait, worth it for the tips on the area from the driver. All staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. The pool and jacuzzi were nice amenities as well. The room was spacious and the bathroom counter was a treat for the female traveler. The bed allowed me the best sleep I have had while on travel in a long time, truly! I recommend this hotel. The basics are delivered spectacularly.

We stay in a lot of hotels. Love almost all. First time reviewing. This one is the worst. Housekeeping walked into our room while my whole family is lounging around visibly and INTO the bathroom that was occupied to get the garbage! Poo splatter in the bathroom when we arrived, breakfast attendant verbally abusive to my husband, and loudly critical of hotel management in front of all breakfast guests. Lots of things in disrepair in our room and in the property.

Don't stay here. Horrible front desk service. My family was left without somewhere to stay and had to go elsewhere. My husband and I were meeting his brother in Colorado Springs where we all planned to share a room before continuing our journey and attending a wedding later in the week. Our flight into Denver was delayed into the evening so my brother-in-law tried to check in. Laura, the front desk attendant, would not let him check in because I was not present. The stay was booked under my IHG account with points, but I had added his name on the reservation. We share the same last name too. We have never had uses with others in our party checking in before, as long as they were noted in the reservation and everything was paid. Laura was extremely unaccommodating for our situation. We even offered to pay over the phone with our credit card, but she would not budge. Luckily they were able to stay at the Marriott SpringHill Suites nearby. Honestly it was a much better location anyway, further from the freeway and closer to downtown. Stay there instead!
