Was in town for a wedding. Had a great experience LQ went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She even sided with me over my husband LOL. Great buffet breakfast. Spacious Rooms. I recommend this hotel if you are in Colorado Springs.

In town for business and stayed at this hotel until our hotel opens. The staff was very friendly. Nice large rooms that are clean. Nice Pool and near lots of restaurants. You will love this place.

Very Poor Management – Needs Serious Improvement I checked in around 9 PM, and while the front desk lady was polite and helpful, my overall experience was disappointing due to extremely poor management. When I entered Room 105, I immediately noticed a large bug in the bathroom and hair on the bed – clear signs that the room was not properly cleaned. I called the front desk, and she casually mentioned that they were sold out the previous night and the housekeeping staff might have had too many rooms to clean. That’s not an acceptable excuse for lack of cleanliness. The next morning, I found another big bug in the room. I went to the front desk again and explained everything. She offered me another room (Room 213), but unfortunately, even in that room, I found hair on the bed. That clearly shows a pattern of poor housekeeping standards. The bathroom water pressure was extremely low, and although there was hot water, it was barely warm – not good enough for a proper shower. Breakfast was another low point. The dishes were dirty, and the food was running out. The breakfast attendant seemed disengaged and didn’t bother to refill items promptly. To be clear – the issue is not the employees themselves. The root problem seems to be weak management. When leadership is lacking, the rest of the staff tend to follow suit. It’s time for the manager to step up, take responsibility, and ensure quality control in every department. On the positive side: The front desk staff were friendly and professional. Also, the rooms, lobby, and kitchen area appear to be recently renovated, which is a plus.

I booked a room for a friend, and paid $508 for 3 nights on the 12th. When she arrived on the 18th, she was charged $508 for the room. I quickly called them, and they reversed the charges (it took ~24 hours for the pending charge to be removed from my friends card). This isn't even the issue. I came in the next day to see my friend spoke with the manager Tavis Maciel about the situation, and he was incredibly rude. He repeatedly told me he didn't think I was listening to him / hearing him. He thought I was making it up / lying to him and couldn't find evidence of this in his computer system (which seemed to be glitchy). Eventually through the conversation he figured out who was working when my friend checked-in (someone who typically does sales not the front desk). After berating me for 15 minutes his tone changed as he suddenly realized what I was talking about likely happened. He said "there's nothing I can do." I couldn't believe how rude he was given the situation. The conversation left me feeling terrible. If you can - stay somewhere else!

We booked and paid for two rooms three weeks in advance as a Hilton Honors member. A handicap room with a roll in shower for my wife in a wheel chair and room with two bed for my sons. I called the Monday before we arrived on Saturday to confirm our rooms. The Front desk confirmed our reservation and details. When we did arrive at the front desk on Saturday the first thing we were told that my sons room was not two beds, but a King and a sofa bed. Our room had two beds but did not have a roll in shower. The front desk person was not very sensitive or caring. She finally found us a roll in shower room so we asked if we could have our old room with two beds for my sons. She said no it does not work that way and they were over sold in those rooms. She told us the room does have two beds a king and a sofa bed. Customer Service ??? During our stay the TV in the bedroom had to be repaired, Internet issues and there was no hot water for showers in both rooms the entire three days. Even after running the shower one time for 30 minutes. People in wheel chairs would have a very hard time in this room both the shower and kitchen do not have proper placement of key needs. I would recommend you stay at the Hilton Gardens next door for a better stay.

We recently spent two nights at this property after having a problem at another Hilton property. Even though we arrived about 15 minutes after making the reservation, our room was ready. The property is in a good location near shopping and restaurants. All of the staff were very nice. We liked the room. It was more modern than some other Homewood's and was clean and comfortable. It was a little loud since it faced the interstate. The windows aren't very well insulated for noise. The hotel serves the standard Homewood breakfast and has a nice fitness room for a relative small property. I would have rated this hotel higher if not for two issues. First, I requested housekeeping service, which was not provided. I also had to ask for a bar of soap, which should be provided in every room (not just the bottles of "goo." Second, although the breakfast had a nice variety of items, it was not replenished. On the first morning, we ate about an hour before it was to close and the fruit bowls and juice pitchers were almost empty. No one was around to refill them. We were a little earlier on the second morning so things were still mostly available. We noticed that the employee working at the front desk was also taking care of the breakfast. That would explain the problem. Requiring one person to do two jobs is just poor management. If service issues are resolved, this property could be rated a 4 or 5.
